“Didn't order food so can't speak to that, but the vibes are immaculate here. Awesome back patio with cornhole, a fire pit, and foosball. Beer selection is fantastic, the tangerine wheat ale was honestly better than Oberon in my opinion. Plus $3 Malort shots for all of the Chicagoans visiting. If (like our group) you are camping at Warren Dunes and the DNR harassed you for drinking a beer at the state park, or just want a quick beer while in town, would highly recommend this place!”
“Alright, so we've lived in Philly and Chicago, tasted some top-notch food, you know? But The Historian? Man, it's right up there with the best!Started things off with those French deviled eggs – just wow! Then, I went for the tomahawk pork chop, and seriously, it's like they've mastered the art of making pork taste like heaven. Cut into it, and it's as smooth as butter. Me and the hubby gave it a solid "best pork chop ever" vote. ?Hubby tried the hanger steak, and it was pure deliciousness. The flavors, the tenderness – spot on. His old fashioned cocktail was also fabulousAlready planning our next date night at The Historian. It's a no-brainer; we're bringing our friends along for this foodie adventure. Can't wait to dive back into this tasty haven!”
“Delicious! We came here 4 years ago when we were visiting the area and we ended up having to do research to try to find what it was called to come back just today and it blew us away again now that we were able to make it back! Highly ”
“Local Pour is a Gem! They are dedicated to Michigan Craft Beverages - what a worthy cause! Their curated selection of wines, beers, spirits, and mixers never disappoints and is constantly evolving. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable, yet very easy to talk to. I was surprised at how large the selection of wines and beers they had on hand, and they make a good cocktail too.Not only do they offer great service and exciting events at Local Pour, but they also have a catering license. This means that you can have them pour Michigan wines, beers, and spirits at your own private event. My husband and I had Steve Salisbury, an employee at Local Pour, come to our house to present and pour wines for a wine dinner. Steve made everyone feel a part of the conversation, whether they were a wine aficionado or a novice. He gave great background information about Michigan wines in general as well as sharing the stories of the producers and vineyards. It was a memorable night for everyone! I highly recommend this service!”
“Lovely ladies dinner for Christmas. Good was unexpected and delicious. We each tried something different. Don't sleep on the drinks, they know how to make them. Will return for date nights.”
“Service was quick and friendly. My black, brewed coffee was OK, but not as good as I remember. It tasted more a like a burned dark roast--kind of like Starbucks Pike Street blend.”
“Thursdays special; Rack of ribs along with wings appetizer. Sides; cajun corn & collard greens. Washed down with two "Party wolf" IPA'S. Quick service, pleasant staff and absolutely awesome food & beer. Loved the dipping sauces. Definitely coming back!”
“It’s becoming so rare to find good coffee places where the perfect balance of creamy and bold is found - Biggby got it perfect! I ordered a caramel mellow, it was perfect for a cold fall night.Service was friendly and quick. So many menu options.”
“The 2 workers here made the best pepperoni pizza ever. The pizza took a little bit to cook but they made it worthwhile. On top of the free drink for the wait the cashier was super kind. I'll be back.”
“We stopped in on our way to Traverse City. Food was a little expensive, but the customer service made it well worth it. Abby was very chipper and made the visit great as well as fun. I left with a full belly, and (as a grown man) I walked out with a Burger King crown. I Rule!! Thanks Abby for making my day!”
“The young guy taking orders was so friendly. Went above and beyond. He was very talkative in a good way. The food is made fresh right in front of you. Super nice and they have pizza hut pizza, pasta and bread sticks.”
“The service was amazing! Still agreed to take my order even though I showed up at closing. Very professional and extremely nice! Liz was especially helpful and kind. I will definitely be returning to this location and recommend to anyone looking for good chicken, at a fantastic price with awesome service as well. Great job!”
“What an amazing little lunch spot. Can't wait to go back for breakfast sometime. Friendly service, good vibe, quaint space. Love to see this in the funny little town of Galien. In a town where it seems everything else has gone out of business, Ray & Al's is a bustling sandwich shop and bakery putting out excellent food.We tried the liverwurst sandwich, which seemed appropriate given all the German heritage in the area. It was good, but I'd try something else next time. It's a unique flavor profile worth trying at least once. You might love it!The Cuban sandwich had a great, smokey flavor to it.Macaroni salad was sweeter than we like it, but that's just personal preference.Baked goods were tasty - tried a chocolate donut and a gluten free brown butter oatmeal chocolate cookie. (it'd probably be even better NOT gluten free ;))Indoor was busy but tables turned fast. There are also a handful of outdoor seating options as well.Well done Ray & Al!”
“First and foremost, very friendly staff with excellent customer service! Second, the food here is therapeutic, the best hotdogs in SW Michigan. Good luck saving these to eat at home and not in the parking lot.Vegetarian options: Veggie dog substitute.”
“Extremely great staff. The chef comes out and talks to you. Sometimes, The weight staff is very, very friendly as well. And takes great care of you. I highly recommend a great little spot and pretty great coffee, too.”
“Service was amazing. We were throwing several drinks at the server and she was picking the one she thought we'd like. All the cocktails were super interesting.Food was incredible. Burger had the perfect amount of sweet and savory. French fries were perfect. Detroit style pizza was well done. All of the house liquors were great.”
“Love healthies on Cleveland! Not only are their shakes & teas great, but the employees too. They are always so welcoming and friendly. I started going here once I moved closer, and it is the only place I will go!”
“Great experience popping in today during a road trip! Very nice people, and great selection of baked goods. They have REALLY great coffee as well - got a drip coffee with milk and sugar, and it was just what I hoped (I’m very picky with coffee as well, for what it’s worth!)Really nice spot and would love to stop in again!”
“Came here with my fiancé during a Red Arrow Highway excursion. They only have drinks here, but what I did have was good, Dad got something and let me try some of it. Its also dog-friendly, which was cute to see.”
“I stopped by for a McBert, biscuits and gravy, and corned beef hash. The food was good, not fancy, but it is what I expected it would be. The woman working was super nice. I would stop by again.”
“Delicious meal. My husband and 7month old stopped on our road trip for brunch. Truly accommodated our food needs for the baby, had highchair and changing tables. The food was so good. Loved the loaded biscuits and gravy. Great Mocha. 10/10!”
“Very good food! The food is cooked right in front of you and the customer service is top-notch!Vegetarian options: I love that they have options here!Kid-friendliness: Comic book stand and coloring books with crayons”
“Warm welcoming place. Not too fancy or expensive if you're watching your wallet. The burgers are the best and the staff is always friendly and will be happy to take your order.”
“Had a wonderful lunch experience here ordering pizza and drinks. Pizza was New York style fennel sausage and was some of the best pizza I’ve had in quite awhile. The staff were extremely welcoming and let us try free samples of other menu items. Will definitely be going back. The only issue is there are too many good options to choose from.”
“We were visiting the area due to a baseball tournament and decided to try this place out. I got the Pot Roast French Dip and it was perfect! Tender meat, lots of cheese, yummy sautéed onions and great aus ju! Highly recommend! Also great service!”
“This has been our favorite pizza for over 20 years. Wife and I would go when we were dating and still go as often as we like. Still the best.Parking: Lots of parking. I think that if the parking lot is full, you ain't gonna get a seat. Lots of parking.”
“Almost always get king crab when I am there....unfortunately this time it wasn't as good as the past. Small and a bit fishy. Our server was very good and sweet.”
“My new favorite location!!! The staff is so friendly and the service is great! The food was delicious and the drinks were perfect!!! Not a sit down location, only drive through.”
“Passing thru and found this! I had the scramble, my daughter had a breakfast sandwich and my husband had turkey/cheddar panini. All very good and locals were friendly!”
“Infusco Coffee has become our go-to place when driving between the Detroit area and Chicago. Great people, good food and drinks, and lovely vibe! The only thing they’re missing is a changing table. I’ve let them know and hope to see it soon!Kid-friendliness: Our 1 month old loves coming and roaming around the place. People are friendly and take her so well.”
