“This was our first visit to the Staymaker, which is the restaurant within the Journeyman Distillery. We are visiting from Chicago and this was recommended and we were not disappointed! Everything was really excellent! From our charming and attentive server Hailey, to the amazing smoked trout spread app to the Trout entree and the brisket meatloaf. It was all so delicious! We will be back!”

“This is our first time visiting Three Oaks, and first time at Froehlichs. It’s a wonderful eclectic interior, and you can also buy all sorts of coffees, jams, candles etc in the back area. The foods was really good! We had the pepper burger and a corn elote salad with salmon. For dessert we had a mixed fruit mini pie (so fresh!) and the chocolate cake. Both delicious! Our server Jane was very nice and attentive as well. We will be back for breakfast!”

I had put an enormous amount of thought into creating a very special day for my partner, and our brunch at Bentwood was an important part of that experience. I reached out ahead of time with a few special requests, and the team executed everything beautifully. The table was ready, the timing was perfect, the details were handled exactly as I had hoped, and the staff made the entire experience feel completely seamless.

What meant the most to me was how genuinely invested they seemed in helping me create the moment. Nothing felt awkward, rushed, or like I was asking too much. They understood that this was more than just brunch for us, and they treated it that way.

The service was warm, attentive, and thoughtful, the food was excellent, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. My partner felt incredibly special, which was exactly what I wanted, and Bentwood Tavern played a real part in making that happen.

I am deeply grateful to the team for the care they put into our visit. When you spend weeks planning something for someone you love, having a restaurant take your vision seriously and execute it this beautifully means more than I can explain.

“Just had dinner here at the Red Arrow Roadhouse. Hubby ordered the meatloaf dinner and he liked it very much. I ordered the Roadhouse Classic Reuben minus the sauerkraut and 1000 island dressing! The house-cooked corned beef, warm, very lean, and incredibly tender on griddled marbled rye, with melted Swiss cheese was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! The fries were perfectly cooked and hot. Our server was a dream. Friendly and welcoming. She made us want to come back! The next time we’re in New Buffalo, we will definitely visit this restaurant again.”

“I had a great time at Hudson Lake Tavern. The Fried Mushrooms were absolutely delightful. The Smash Burgers were easily some of the best burgers around. The edges were perfectly crispy and the burger itself was cooked to perfection. The Tater Tots were crispy and delicious, and the drinks were oh so good. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable and won't hurt your pocketbook. The atmosphere was laid back and relaxed, and the bartender was amazing, which made the whole experience even better. If you're looking for a night out away from the kids, this is definitely the place to be. It's 21+, and perfect for a fun, relaxing evening. We will Definitely be back!”

“Angela's Provisions is fantastic! I recently met the owner, Kevin, and his pup at Uncle Jibs Outpost. Kevin was incredibly friendly and welcoming. After our chat, I realized I had never tried food from his spot, so I decided to have the Caesar Salad with chicken for lunch today and it was amazing! Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the lettuce was perfectly crisp. Adding the chicken was the perfect touch, providing just the right amount of protein. I’m excited to try more items from the menu soon! My employee ordered the Italian Wedding soup and loved it as well. I’ve found a new favorite place for breakfast and lunch. Thank you!”
