I was about an hour away from home for work, never been to this town, stumbled upon this gem. It was embarrassingly close to closing so I apologized profusely and told the girl who greeted me (who made me feel like we were old friends) I'd be happy to take my order to go. She still took the time to chat, explain the menu, make some suggestions and inform me that everything is home made. Portions are huge, she made absolutely sure that I had everything I could possibly need...
Classic, cozy, small town café, super conveniently located right off the main drag. Probably the best local restaurant to take your mega picky eater for a delicious, stress fre classic American meal.
My only criticism is the payment signage. The receipt mentions that cash purchases...
