Safe location. Really good food and service. The restaurant is pretty run down, but clean. The Bathroom... absolutely the #1 most dirty, gross and nasty restroom that I have ever seen!!! 🤢. I cannot explain how bad the restroom was. The restroom filth, will definitely cause us not to return to the Brown Bear.

Best Burger on this side of the state. Amazing servers. Was so impressed when we were seated so quickly on a extremely busy night. Love the chill atmosphere.... especially those chandeliers. The peacock chandelier is my favorite.

This is a great place to have a burger and a drink or two. The service was great and our server was friendly and attentive. We had burgers and onion rings and both were very good. We enjoyed the atmosphere. We'll be back!

We have to go to the Brown Bear every time we go to Michigan. The one in Shelby is a little more authentic feeling than the one in Pentwater, but both are a delight. The crab bisque is surprisingly amazing. Burgers are out of this world and the apps are all fantastic. Great prices. Service is sometimes iffy, but it’s basically a bar so what can you expect. Love it!!
