Steak torta, pork tacos, chicken gordita / cactus gordita (one of each) and cocktail shrimp are all 5/5 stars. This is as authentic as it gets. These people know how to cook quality Mexican food. This restaurant is part of a Mexican grocery store. Despite that fact, the tables are spacious. The best foods are always found in the least obvious places. Unlike the big restaurant that are found on the tourist attraction main strips.
I stopped to check out the market that they have inside the restaurant. They have a meat counter with all the classic Hispanic types and cuts of meat. I picked up everything I needed to make a delicious batch of al pastor. There's nothing like a great pork taco or burrito. So if you need something special to cook your favorite Mexican dish, you might want to check out this place.
