Can’t trust the food handling practices here when every trash can is overflowing, every table is dirty, the glass is dirty, the floor hasn’t been swept, the food crusted in the bins… truly comical considering the previous reviews say the same. Dang 😂

I visited the restaurant this week around 7pm and I’m not sure how any manager/owner would allow the restaurant to operate this dirty. The food in the assembly line was all over the place, rice, beans, etc were all over the counter. There was food all over the kitchen floor. The tables were dirty and the trash was overflowing in all three bins. Last time I was there was a over a year ago and it was just as bad.
They have plenty of people working so there’s no excuse for the mess.

I’ve been a fan of Chipotle for years and usually go to the Lakeside Circle location in Sterling Heights, where the food and service are consistently great.

My visit today to the Shelby Township location on 23 Mile was the complete opposite. I was the only person in line, with only a few other diners inside, yet I stood there for almost ten minutes before anyone even acknowledged me despite nine employees being visible behind the counter.

When I finally sat down to eat, the restaurant was filthy. Nearly every table was covered in food remains, used napkins, and empty trays. All the trash cans were overflowing, and there were no forks or napkins available. Even the chair I initially sat on was broken.

It’s shocking to see this level of neglect, especially with so many employees on shift. This location desperately needs better attention to basic cleanliness and customer service.

Expect a certain level of consistency with this type of restaurant.

Service was good, everyone smiling.

Very little chicken in my bowl, and the corn was borderline frozen.

Bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the Cold War however.

Won’t stop here again.

Worst location I been to. They say they close at 2300 but most likely they got non of the stuff they supposed to sell u after 8 p.m . Stuff kids that don’t know what they doing over there .

They close at 11. We arrived at 9pm to order. Almost no proteins and when we asked if they’d make more, they said grill closed for the day… with 2 hours left in the day. What a joke.

This location is absolutely terrible and a disgrace to Chipotle. Mobile orders are almost always missing something, chips are either stale or over-salted and they take no pride in any food prep. I was handed a bag today with liquid dripping from it; the employee clearly saw it and decided that is how it should go out. This last sentence pretty much sums it up - go to another location or try something else.

The current manager on October 5 at 8:35 PM Made me stand there for 20 minutes while he tried to fix the computer and I asked him to knock a few dollars off my order for the wait and he told me no.

so I said well you’re not getting any money then and I walked out because this guy does not understand customer service!!

Never going back!
