What used to be among the best in the Oakland County MI area is now a shadow of it's former self. In the last month, I ordered food on a Saturday twice. The first time, it took 1 hour later to get my food with many people angrily in line. The last time, the onsite staff seemed very stressed out, with one employee trying to help customers in line and a person in the back swearing about other employees who didn't show up. I waited for 1 hour in the store, and ended up taking a GF pizza that wasn't my order. Other customers came in and out of the store in similar situations including one person who was supposed to get delivery but ended up stopping by after 2 hours of waiting - they ended up walking away in disgust. The store manager refunded me my money, the following day at least for my situation. I hope that more quality help is hired, and that service times improve as the food is actually good, but the experiences have been terrible recently.

I ordered a square pizza and it was very good. The edges were nice and crispy.

This place used to be our go-to pizza place when it opened. Unfortunately the quality went downhill in the last year or so. Undercooked pizza and sloppily made. Too bad really.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Cloverleaf that left a bad taste in my mouth – literally. Despite placing an order, they managed to achieve the impossible by never delivering my pizza. It's as if they invented a new form of teleportation that exclusively applies to my beloved dinner.I eagerly awaited the cheesy goodness promised by their menu, only to be met with disappointment and an empty stomach. Perhaps they thought my hunger could be satisfied through sheer anticipation? If that's their strategy, I must say it's both innovative and utterly infuriating. In my quest for sustenance, I found myself exploring the depths of despair as I stared at my pizza-less existence. So, to anyone considering ordering from Cloverleaf, be prepared for a culinary vanishing act that would make Houdini proud. Bon appétit... or not.

Lies. Dough is not made daily. They use old products an put em on top of fresh stuff. Every1 there is new or young with out a care for cleaning or freshness. NASTY. I wouldn't eat it if it's free.

Place is set up so they can't see anyone at the front counter (like fast food restaurants used to be back in the day so you can't see what's going on back there....because you just don't want to lol). Correct this.....and be more attentive. Maybe have one of those bells at the counter like back in the 70s too. Just a weird vibe here.

Phoned in order for pizza- half with no green peppers & a garden salad with no green peppers & ranch dressing. Asked to have my order repeated to me & it was wrong. Missed half green pepper on pizza & no green pepper on salad & ranch dressing. Hubby picked up order. He checked the pizza & it was correct. Didn’t check salad or dressing. Salad was loaded with green peppers & dressing wasn’t ranch. AND he paid $1 extra for ranch dressing we didn’t get!

Pizza was delivered in a timely manner but still super cold. Pizza was undercooked and sauce was flavorless. Garlic parm wings undercooked but the sauce was almost a butter gravy taste.

Just ate my first cloverleaf pizza after a 20 year hiatus. I subsisted on Cloverleaf Pizza from the original Gratiot Restaurant throughout the late 80s and all throughout the 90s, but then moved away and never made it back to the old neighborhood. I've had Buddies, Louis's, Jet's, Oliver's, Shield's, all at the original locations and also at their other places around metro Detroit. This Shelby location was were I picked up tonight's dinner and I have to say it was at the top of the best pizza of all time. And their square Cloverleaf bread was the best I ever ate. On the downside I also ordered an antipasto salad that had at least 50% bad romaine leaves mixed in and couldn't serve it. When I called and spoke with the manager she did not hesitate to Issue a refund and apologized for the mistake. I am already planning my next pizza and I wholeheartedly recommend this takeout location.

The manager wanted to charge me for replacing a pizza.I ordered a pizza, they replaced a topping for one I am allergic to.I was told I'd be charged a delivery fee and have to wait 90+ minutes to have it replaced.
