Detroit Fish House: Steak and Oyster Bar

Restaurant was hot and uncomfortable. Service was pretty good, not as attentive as I would like. The food as always was excellent.

I had a wonderful dinner, The atmosphere was inviting, the service was excellent, and the food was flavorful and beautifully presented. A standout dish the stuffed shrimp was excellent and made the evening memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.

Somewhat pricey but the food was very good as was the service. A very enjoyable dining experience!

We enjoyed our dining experience at Detroit Fish House from start to finish! Delicious old fashioned cocktails, fresh seafood and yummy dessert! We're so happy that we chose to celebrate our anniversary here!

Second time we've had Paul as our waiter, and he is absolutely the best. Knowledgeable, super attentive, and the best personality ever. For the east side of town, the food is excellent. Definitely not Michelin star material, by any means, but as I said, really good for the east side of town.

Our third visit and our third awesome meal! Sea Bass, Beef Filet, and Ahi Tuna...all prepared exceptionally well. Staff at the restaurant exceptional as well. We'll be back!

Service was SLOW. From time we entered until we left was over two hours, close to two and a half.

Unfortunately, we waited a very long time to receive our appetizer and entries. We were notified after 40 minutes that they were behind and working hard to get up to speed. Overall staff were nice, the chefs brought out the meals in a way to show appreciation for our wait. we had reservations at 7 pm, and we received our appetizer at 8pm and our meals at 8:20ish. The food was good for the price I paid. Everyone was nice. I think they just had some trouble on mothers Day night as it was not terribly busy.

The service, both at the bar and at the table, was excellent. We are NEVER disappointed when we come here. This time, I went big and ordered Papa Bear’s Steamer Bowl. It came to the table piping hot and delicious. This place is an excellent choice for a casual dinner with friends, a milestone celebration, or for any reason, really. So good!!
