Was able to travel here for a photoshoot for GrubHub. Janice was incredily helpful and the ice cream was delicious! While I am not on that side of town often, I'd still highly recommend them! Great little shop.

I got charged extra for paying with a credit card?! When did that start happening? If I known that I would've paid cash instead. Also the older lady that was making the ice cream wasn't wearing any gloves. Didn't this place shut down for a while because someone who works there had Covid? Maybe I'll go to to another ice cream place that has better CDC precautions for a while until this pandemic is over.

I am a big lover of the custard spot across the street but with the long lines, I decided to give this place a shot instead. The girl working there gave suggestions for both sweet and chocolatey and was very patient with my indecisiveness. With COVID, only 1 person was allowed inside so they took our order and delivered it to us outside. Huge portion sizes and delicious ice cream! I must say I was impressed and will definitely be back to try more!

Ashby’s is the best ice cream out there. The Spumoni is my little piece of heaven. But what makes me keep coming back, is Jan and her crew. I have an Ashby’s about a mile from my house, but I go to Double Dippers exclusively. The are friendly, community involved and just good people. The store is small so during COVID it’s been difficult to maintain distancing, so Jan brings your ice cream to your car most of the time. So if you go, be kind. No taking cuts! Leave a good tip! But most of all enjoy!

My husband and i decided to give this a try since it’s close to home! We were definitely not disappointed; there were many flavors to choose from, hardly any wait time, great hospitality, and even better prices! The young lady that brought out our ice cream also made sure to include napkins without us having to ask. A small gesture that really helps make a difference! We’ll definitely be visiting again!*Edit:Portion sizes are great! ?

Ashby's Ice Cream is one of the best ice creams and my family and I were very excited to find that this ice cream location carries this brand. Yesterday, was our first time visiting here and we did not have the greatest experience. Yes, the ice cream was great like usual, but the customer service was not. Due to the state's precautions of COVID, we waited for our order to be taken outside which was fine, I understand. However, when the young lady took our order, she was not very friendly and had an attitude. I am totally aware that working customer service sucks and it probably has been a long day for her, but I don't think that it was appropriate to put that attitude on my family and I. She asked if I needed lids for my ice creams (Total of 4: 3 Doubles and 1 Triple), I replied back to her that I needed lids for all of them. She did not come back with lids on them and that's okay, she probably didn't hear me the first time through my mask. So I asked again, and she came back with THREE different sizes, not even four lids. Yet, I just let it go and said, "thank you, have a good night." She replied back, "mhmmmm". I mean, how ridiculous and rude. She must not know what manners are. I hope that the next time I visit, it would be a better experience because I want to continue to support local businesses.
