We had a private party to celebrate a milestone birthday 🎂 for my mom. The room was beautiful and our server David took great care of our party. The food and drinks were wonderful and everyone really enjoyed their meals and the great service! The staff all around was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. My grandma ate here and she got horrible food poisoning within 24 hours. She threw up many times, she was shaking and unable to move. We had to take her to the hospital and hook her up to a IV. She had veal and some baked/mashed potatoes. She’s an old woman and having food poisoning for her is extremely dangerous and very harmful to her health. We are of course extremely disappointed especially because we used to eat at this restaurant. Kitchen staff needs to prioritize food safety and take precautions to avoid cross contamination but clearly that’s not happening.

We booked a private room for our engagement dinner at Filippa’s. The service was great. All of the staff was amazing. They were friendly and polite and very attentive to our needs. They got us whatever we asked for right away. Everyone loved the food. I would highly recommend booking an event at Filippa’s!

We sat down for our reservation around 630 ish and after being greeted and sat by the sweet host up front, we were promptly introduced to Aaron. I must say I don’t think we’ve ever had a higher degree of service at any restaurant we’ve been to. He was extremely knowledgeable explaining his favorite dishes and cocktails to us and he also had the most pleasant demeanor while doing so. On top of that the restaurant was relatively busy and there was never a moment he wasn’t within our eyeshot available to tend to all of our needs. I cant recommend this place enough! The food is amazing and it’s some of the best service you can get in michigan. We cant wait to come back!

We had the best time tonight. I hadn't been here in about 15 years and it is still as lovely as I remembered. We ate in the bar because they had live music which was great. Our group had the perch, gnocchi special, and a chicken dish, as well as a desert. Everyone loved their meals and the service was excellent. I love the old school vibe. The butternut squash soup was absolutely fantastic!

We haven't been here in years due to the distance and road construction, but we are so glad we decided to go back! The food was incredible! My husband's veal was the perfect thickness, tender and flavorful. My gnocchi was soft with a basil cream sauce, you could taste how fresh the basil was! We will definitely be back more often!
