I waited over an hour tracking my pizza on the howies website with no updates so I called the store. They inform me that they have no idea where their driver is and can’t get ahold of him for the last 2 hours so they sent the order to DoorDash. Over half an hour later there is still no update on my order and no driver had picked up the order. I called the store back and talked to the same person because now my food had been sitting there for almost two hours. I asked what they were going to do now that my pizza was cold and sitting out for so long. He tells me “I don’t know maybe give you free food or something” so I tell him I don’t want a cold pizza delivered I would like a new one or my money back and order cancelled. He says he can’t refund me anything and can only give me a credit. I told him I don’t want a credit, and to give me my money back, and he decides to hang up on me. Absolutely horrible customer service, worst howies location I have ever ordered from and I am a loyal howies customer. Never going here or using DoorDash again. Worst experience I’ve ever had.

I’m going to start this out by saying I do not normally complain but I had an absolutely terrible experience. Ordered pizza online through the website for my young daughter’s birthday party. Confirmation said that it would be ready in 15 minutes. Showed up in 15 minutes and received a call saying that they were out of the ingredient for the pizza and they hadn’t started the order yet. 25 minutes rolls by, still not ready. Had a salad as part of the order, the kid yells “We’re out of cucumber is that okay.” At this point, I just need my food so I agree. 40 minutes from when I order they finally get me the food and…forgot to include part of the order after I asked if it was everything. So back I went. I asked the kid at the register to have the owner call me. It’s been over 2 weeks…still waiting on the call. Employees were brutal, food was bad, & awful customer service. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Very slow, ordered and paid online and it said it would be about 15 minutes...showed up and they had my order but had not started on it yet. When the app told me it was ready and I had seen the just put a couple pizza boxes in the hot box. The girl behind the counter told me it would be coming out soon. A few minutes later she checked the hot box be hind the counter and called out my name like she had no clue I had been sitting there waiting.

They screwed up my order then replaced it with a burned crust pizza. Person on the phone was very short and rude hanging up prematurely. I'm never going to order here again. This is ridiculous. Sticking to the smaller pizza places.
Horrible, ordered pizza was supposed to be 30-40 min, over an hour later we called because we were leaving the house and ordered it for our kids and pizza driver was out delivering 7 other pizzas ahead of us...so he would be driving with our pizza for over an hour....get a life. We've been ordering from this place for years. Lost a customer.

The thin crust pizza with butter and sesame seed crust was cooked to perfection. There was an error in the delivery process but Matt the GM did not hesitate to make it right.If you live in Shelby and want great pizza fast, give them a try.

I order a large meat pizza with butter crust and I got some of the worst pizza I've ever had. I could have got better pizza at out of the frozen section at the grocery store. Also the guy that delivered the pizza didn't say a word he just trusted the pizza at me and walked away. I had gave him a 30% tip too. I will never get pizza from this location again.

Ordered a pizza from this location Friday 8/11 at around 8:30 pm. I ordered the Howie Maui thin crust like usual and received a pizza baked with ham only. There was barely any cheese on it and all the other topping were tossed on after it was made. The pizza was soggy and drenched in pineapple juice. Cold, uncooked and loose peppers and pineapple. Called to speak with a manager and the girl that answered the phone said she was the manager. She angrily said "we don't do that". Continued to argue with me and give me attitude. Glad I started recording the conversation. I very kindly asked her name and she snapped and said she doesn't have to give me her name. I refuse to believe that she was the manager- very unprofessional and it wasn't even that serious but decided to leave a review since she was so rude. If you don't do this then who did?? Take your business elsewhere. This place needs new management!
