Ribs and wings are very good. Nice atmosphere with lots of TVs.
Unfortunately, we’ve noticed that their service has been getting progressively worse over the years. Recently we waited 10 minutes, had to get our own menus, then left when people who came in after us were greeted before us.

DO NOT DO THEIR 25 WING CHALLENGE. It is a COMPLETE scam! I went there with my buddy, and did it. You're supposed to win a t-shirt, and get a picture on the wall, but in actuality you get NOTHING. You spend over 30 dollars either way too cause the meal isn't free. I was told "It can take up to six weeks to get your prizes." Only problem is, they didn't ask me for my address, they didn't ask my t-shirt size, and they didn't take a picture. So... the whole thing is just an absolute scam to get you to spend a ton of money on more wings than you'd usually eat for NO reason. Based on this fact, I can 100% recommend to NOT go there... because if they're willing to lie about that, then imagine what else goes on in that place. If people will lie to your face and waste your money, do you really think the owners AREN'T gonna cut corners where you CAN'T see? Do you think that they'll lie to your face, but then behind closed doors (aka: The Kitchen) not let standards like cleanliness, employee grooming, or food quality slip? If they're so desperate for money that they will OPENLY scam you in the dining room, do you REALLY think they're gonna be above board with everything else? Anybody who has experience in the restaurant industry knows that you put your best face on in the front of house... it's why pretty girls are hostesses, and why well spoken overly social types are generally waitstaff, and why they get nicer uniforms. What goes on in the dining room DIRECTLY reflects what is going on in the kitchen. If you work at a restaurant, and you STILL go eat at this place, or allow your friends/family to.... then you are an idiot. Cause lying to customers is the biggest no no in the business... all restaurant staff knows this, and when it's done BLATANTLY... you KNOW that behind the scenes some SERIOUSLY shady stuff has to be happening. These are the kinds of places that pour 5'Oclock into a Grey Goose bottle, or change expiration dates on food, or tell you something is fresh but is actually frozen, or doesn't change the fry oil regularly because it'll save a couple bucks. ANYBODY who has worked in a restaurant KNOWS what i'm talking about. I am a chef by trade btw at a fine dining restaurant (not like that rats nest). I'm also going to write Randy Santels FoodChallenges.com to hopefully get the word out that this place is openly scamming people. Anyways... do what you will.... I feel like I did my part by warning all you to not get scammed out of your money like I did.
Update: Professional eater "Nathan Klein" completed this food challenge, and posted the video on youtube. So, you no longer have to take my word for it. I commented on the video, and explained what my experience was, and asked if they were honest with HIM. He said he had the SAME experience as me, and they gave him NOTHING. I cannot say enough.... the food challenge at this place is a COMPLETE SCAM.... and by extension, that means the owners have NO PROBLEM with blatantly lying to their customers.

Got the wings, which were delicious. The drinks were great as well, with the server being friendly and prompt the entire time we were there.

I just wanted to start this off by saying I feel compelled to write this review due to the fact that I see so many 5 stars, which lead me to trying this establishment in the first place. I urge all the people saying nice things about it to actually try some REAL good food. They clearly have some form of Stockholm syndrome, or maybe just bad taste. The wings we ordered were served up in what resembled a dog food bowl. However, I would not have even fed them to my dog as it would be an insult. They were SWIMMING in sauce, cold, and so dry you could barely even chew them. We also ordered the garlic Parmesan fries. When the food runner carried them out she said to us “these look delicious, enjoy!”. But we were instantly very wary of the taste due to how horrific they looked. But we decided to give them a chance. We should’ve trusted our initial judgment, because this was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. They should be embarrassed to even serve these to people. Please, management, consider upping your standards. Do not let your ego be fueled by the 5 stars you have received and think that you have no room to grow. You need to reassess what you are serving to people, because it currently is shameful. I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant with so many positive reviews.

We rented the party room for our class reunion. It was a wonderful experience. They were very attentive to our deeds, and the food was delicious. Our waitress was wonderful. Amelia gets two thumbs up thank you very much Maverix for making it a memorable experience for our class.

My three friends and I came to Mavrix to eat after a hearty high school football game. We were a little late for our reservation but our table was still open for us. Despite having to wait a little while for a server to come by and help us, I will give the service five stars. Even though they had two servers, we our waitress was Katelyn S, she was sweet beyond words. She was just as kind as absolutely possible. I personally work at a restaurant, so I know how hard it can reach when understaffed. I loved how hard the staff was working, despite being low.

I had heard quite a lot about this place and I'm glad I finally got to try it. The place looked really cool from the moment we stepped inside. Lots of space, windows, and design. We started out with the pretzel bites for an appetizer, which came out quick and warm. They were soft and came with 3 dipping sauces (the honey mustard was the best.) I got the wings with Buffalo sauce and fries and my friend got BBQ wings with bacon Mac and cheese. The wings were just okay to me, but the bacon mac and cheese along with the fries were both super good. Jax was our waitress and she was very friendly and on top of everything, it's obvious that she's a hard worker.
