Drove all the way here and they're not open!!!
Great authentic Mexican food!
This was my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant until the last few years when it began to go downhill. My most recent visit will probably be my last. They have gone from a 4 page menu of unique and delicious meals to a single page of generic ‘burritos, tacos, etc’, taking away what made it great. Add to that their chefs (I was told by the waiter) inflexibility on adding anything extra or modifying an item (I.e, you can’t pay extra to add both the chicken and the spinach/mushrooms to a quesadilla- must be one or the other!) and a general feeling that they are doing you a favor by existing, and I’ll be finding a new favorite.
Best Mexican food in the entire area. The Arizonan combo was great.

Our favorite Mexican restaurant to eat at when we are in town. Have been going here for over 30 years!! The village combination never disappoints..the cheese enchilada was so cheesy, the tacos perfectly cooked and filled, the tostada crispy and piled with the perfect amount of beans, lettuce and cheese, the chicken flauta cooked to perfection...always get extra sour cream and a side order of sliced jalapeños to toss on top.. The "hot" salsa was absolutely delicious.

Stopped in on a mid-afternoon weekday. Very pleasant hostess sat us immediately. We were able to order our beverages and food when the waiter came over, and our lunches were served quickly.
The chicken fajitas were the best I've had in a long time. The chicken and veggies are served in nice thick slices, which I personally prefer over the shredded variety. It was served with sour cream, Pico de gallo, cheese, beans and rice. Our server was friendly and personable.

Wheelchair accessibility: They were very accommodating to my daughters wheelchair. There is plenty of room inside the restaurant to move around.
The bathrooms are very small though.

One of the best Mexican restaurants around without going to Mexicantown in downtown Detroit. Not the original like downtown, but close enough. Great food, service was good, but needs an update in decor.

Was told the wait is 1.5hrs. Waited and waited and waited. People who came after us with the same count of people were let in before us. When i asked hostess what was up she said “i know things are messed up right now”. Like ok?!?!??! Food was mediocre. Chips were stale, dry, cold. I dont know place is overrated.
UPDATE 10/7/2024: I guess you did NOT read my review "manager" I said:
