After being introduced to Noori at the Clawson location, I was happy to find they had opened another location in Shelby! Not sure how it snuck by me for so long. The chicken is amazing! This is the only place you'll ever want to go for wings. Don't let the number of wings fool you, they're roughly twice the size of wings anywhere else and their quality is amazing. I prefer the supreme and the soy chili sauce, they're sweet, savory, and spicy. I tolerate a high level of heat and these have just a enough heat to feel for me, your mileage may vary. The soy garlic chicken paired with soy garlic dumplings is my go-to, and they never disappoint! On my last order they tossed in an extra dumpling just because and it was so nice! I am extremely happy to have found this place. The food was excellent and extremely well priced for the quantity and quality. I opted for a lunch combo with 4 wings, a side and drink which was the perfect amount of food. The soy garlic sauce was the perfect amount of flavor and did not leave either the chicken or dumplings drenched or overpowered. Chris, the owner, was happy to sit and talk as well as I happened to be the first customer of the day. The atmosphere and service made this the perfect quick bite before hopping back on the road and I would certainly recommend that you give it a try if you end up close by!
It's one of my favorite chicken joints in Michigan. The food is consistently good, and the service is friendly. There is plenty of street parking and parking behind the building. There are a few seats to sit while eating, but it is not that big. The ambiance is like any chicken joint, but when the gastropub that is a whole different story.
