Service was terrible, food was overcooked,after waiting extra long time! Server was rude,we've been going there for years,this is the 2nd time the server was rude ,they need classes in customer service!! We asked to speak to the manager, but he was TOO BUSY!👎👎👎👎

Just came from the pancake factory in Shelby Township. I’ll admit that when my wife first asked to go there I was a little skeptical because not all pancake places know how to cook good pancakes. Soon as I got in, I was thoroughly surprised by the selection that they have of pancakes, crêpes, and types of pancakes and even food for the regular menu. The service our server Terri was awesome. She was knowledgeable. She helped us understand me well. And let’s get to the food the food was phenomenal. The crêpes were fluffy light homemade whipped cream. That was tasty and delicious. The fruit that was on it was beautiful felt fresh. My wife’s food she ordered the grilled chicken pita, and she said she just loved that she barely had to add any condiments to it and it was just perfect for her pallet. The last thing is they have these cool Dutch oven pancakes we didn’t get a chance to try them today because they said it’ll take 25 minutes to cook and we were just on a time crunch today, but we will be back to try those Dutch oven pancakes, but you could look below for some pictures and if you go check it out, please tell them that Koron the best eatery reviewer sent you.

Been in town 2 days and had breakfast here both days and plan to go back tomorrow. Food was VERY good and the service was awesome!
I recently visited Pancake Factory and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. Upon arrival, my party, who are people of color, was seated near the bathroom. This has happened to us twice before, and while I don't want to jump to conclusions, it felt uncomfortable. It’s concerning that this has happened multiple times, and it’s hard not to feel that our seating placement might have been influenced by something other than chance.
When we politely asked to move tables, the server seemed visibly irritated and gave us a blank stare, despite our gratitude for accommodating our request. Throughout the meal, she continued to watch us and we overheard her making comments to other staff members, which made us feel even more uncomfortable.
Additionally, after we switched tables, a hostess walked by and bumped into my mother, which seemed unnecessary and petty given the timing. The food was mediocre—my brother felt unwell after eating, and my portion of fries was smaller than expected. Despite everything, we still left a tip, as we understand that people can have difficult days, but overall, the experience left us feeling unwelcome and dissatisfied.
