Bandeja Paisa
The main characteristic of this dish is the generous amount and variety of food in a traditional bandeja paisa: red beans cooked with pork, white rice, carne molida (ground meat), chicharrón, fried egg, plantain (plátano maduro), chorizo, arepa, hogao sauce, avocado and lemon.
Grilled Chicken Platter
We use our own special dry rub to marinate our chicken then grill it to perfection. Comes with lentils, rice and avocado salad! Great for lunch or dinner!

Simple and delicious!! Only option was the bowl- black beans, rice, plantains, and avocado salsa. But that’s all you need. The dish was incredible. Super authentic, tasted amazing, generous portion, reasonable price, friendly staff. Loved it!

We stopped in for a quick bite thinking we were in the mood for dessert, having not tried authentic Colombian food before. My girlfriend and I ordered the sampler and that’s when it hit us - this was exactly what we needed and the dessert food craving was gone in a flash. Even though we were full from our meal earlier, we devoured the arepa con queso, fried plantain, and fried rice with chicken. As somebody who grew up eating authentic Mexican food, I really feel like I cheated...

We love going to Rosita’s and not having to worry about a gluten issue (me). The food and service are always amazing. The staff is very sweet. We tend to also bring a lot of food home because everything reheats well, too! We love the atmosphere of the Shelby Twp location (we haven’t experienced Royal Oak yet). We will keep coming back!
