Just had the worst beef swarma ever. 10 bucks for beef jerky wrapped in wilted lettuce. Astonished they would serve this garbage.

The best Middle Eastern cuisine. All the product they use are prime type product, they are very popular with shawarma, The meat is so tender and the ingredients and the spices are amazing. I don't know how to explain that, atmosphere is so amazing and so clean and will give you the vibe of a middle eastern cuisine,
We came to celebrate my son’s birthday, they took an hour to bring us our drinks. We had a party of nine and a couple left because of the service. They weren’t that busy (3 tables) The food was ok. I’m very disappointed so I googled to see if an old acquaintance I knew years ago owned the place and it seems like his family still does. I used to get food from Oak Park location a lot and it was very good! But there isn’t one think I can say good about this place.

It took over an hour just to get our drinks, and there were only two tables in the entire restaurant being served — so there’s really no excuse for the wait. The staff barely checked on us, and when they finally brought our order, there was no apology or offer to make it right.
If this is the kind of service they give when the place is almost empty, I can’t imagine what it’s like when they’re busy. Definitely won’t be coming back.

The restaurant is clean and well maintained. It’s a modern, and to a degree fancy set up. The service was great. The servers tended to me right away and then brought complimentary appetizers right after. Lentil soup and fresh warm pita type of bread with the best garlic sauce, I’ve ever had. I had the lamb shawarma with vegetables. The food was hot and fresh. The portions are generous, and the price is right!

Stopped in on a last minute lunch thing. My wife and I got a couple of salads, (famous and eggplant) both with chicken. Generous servings and WONDERFUL salads. The fried eggplant strips are yummy!

I brought a friend from Texas here for dinner on Sunday October 5th. She wanted good middle eastern food and I e always had good food and service here. This time was worse than terrible. After being seated we were ignored for nearly 10 minutes with the host bringing water to the table. There was a full staff and only four groups dining in. The staff kept looking at us and not coming to the table. We don’t leave because we had been engaged in conversation. We had to flag down a waitress and we were given a load of excuses. I wanted a small salad and a shrimp added to it. I was told I had to order a larger salad to get the shrimp. It doesn’t state that anywhere in the menu and I said forget the shrimp and give me a small salad because I wasn’t very hungry. Food came out quickly. Tabbouleh was just a tough chop with no lemon juice in it and tasted like wet grass. Falafel looked to be recooked a couple of times and as hard as a walnut shell. There was no manager on duty and we received a lot of excuses. We left and picked up Steve’s Backroom from the fruit market and it was delicious. I hope this is not typical service now.
