Old fashioned counrty eatery....great tastes. Only place where sausage gravy has great fla or. Inconsistent hours and days of operation. No way to tell. A real treasure for Shelby, but fading away.
Food is ok, but days and hours open very inconsistent. Also no donuts anymore. Better take the word bakery off the name of restaurant. kind of false advertising when the out of town tourists come here, don't want to confuse the city folk! My wife, ( God rest her soul) loved the donuts.
Enjoyed a plate of corned beef hash and eggs. Our waitress/cook was very pleasant with an infectious smile and great memory. Didn't need paper to record or order. Nice small town restaurant. We'll be back.
