My latte tasted great but it took an extremely long time to receive it. That's why I rated four stars instead of five.

We've been twice while heading to Costco. The French Vietnamese Au Lait has been a goto option so far. Location is okay, plenty of parking is good since you must go inside to order/pickup. Staff has been friendly, customer are happy in conversation or work and the store is clean.

I ordered a cold brew with oat milk and the cashier/barista was thrown through a loop about it. Asked if I wanted it hot or iced. Asked if I wanted heavy cream multiple times. I shared I was lactose intolerant and just wanted plain cold brew with a splash of oat milk. She said oh we do have almond milk. And I said just oat milk is fine. Tried to stay patient and kind about it, maybe she was new. I confirmed my order again, now a bit nervous what I would get. However halfway through my drink I became very sick having a classic allergic reaction to dairy. I had to cancel my plans for the day. I normally dont leave complaint reviews but this to me is very serious. What if someone with a nut allergy got almond milk? I am lucky I just got sick for the day but for some people it can be a near death experience. Its ok for people to struggle when they are new but I felt like with the things she kept asking she didn't listen to me at all. I also got a breakfast sandwich and the egg was still cold and bacon raw :( double whammy from this staff member.
To the owners. nearly $6 for a small Americano. You are out of your mind. You know your coffee is mid and not worth half that. I hope your baristas get health care, paid time off, and a nice wage. That would help me feel less ripped off
To anyone reading this. If you like coffee flavored sugar water this place may be good. If you like real coffee this place is not it
First Time I love it will go again I have to take my granddaughter

This review is based solely on the service we received on May 13th around 6:35pm.This was our 3rd visit in the last 5 days and the previous 2 visits were really awesome. We were helped by the lady with purple hair and she was really awesome ( sorry I don't remember her name).Today we ordered a chai tea latte ( cold), ginger lemon tea ( cold) and 2 cup cakes. I asked for a lemonade to be split for my young kids and she said that wasn't possible and I can get 2 doubles or split it by myself using the open cups. I really wanted the lids so my toddlers won't spill it, so I told her to cancel that. Total came to around 20.94$ and I added 20% tip. When the order came out the drinks were both hot and the cupcakes came in a box . We asked for plates and she said that they don't give plates after 6pm ( this is the first time I have ever heard of a rule like this)My husband went and politely asked the lady if she can change just 1 of hot tea to cold and her response was that I placed a order for hot drinks and not cold and she couldn't change it. (I had specifically asked for cold drink and I confirmed with the person we were meeting as she was right next to me). She was pretty condescending and asked if he needed to see the manager to which he said yes. She right away pulled the female card and said he was giving a hard time just because she was a female. He wasn't sure how to respond back and told her don't worry about the drink. To the owner: please feel free to review the video to corroborate what I just explained. Please hire people who can treat customers with respect and does a decent job.

I would take this place over Starbucks seven days a week. This is one of the many gems Shelby township has.

The coffee and tea is remarkable, however due to the lack of comfort in the chairs, it makes it an uncomfortable cafe to work or study in. If the chairs were more comfortable, I would study there for hours on end!

Their matcha tastes like cardboard but everything else is pretty good. Just wish a place that's advertised as a tea shop knew how to properly make matcha.

Very rude, poor management. I have been a customer for years and was treated like garbage when the owner decided to put an unqualified, unprofessional person in a position of authority. The owner promised to get back to me after handling the situation and he never did. When loyal customers are treated with no regard, that says a lot about a place and the people running it. Extremely disappointing after spending thousands at Sweetwaters over the years.
