Overall this was a case of hits and misses. I was expecting a decent sit down experience but it is definitely more fast casual in appearance. 2 of the 4 meals were really good, but our server did get the sides mixed up. I'd steer clear or the Chicharron as it was basically inedible.

As a born and raised New Yorker, I am always searching for delicious Hispanic food. I came here to celebrate my 36th bday with family that drove here from Virginia. The owner of the restaurant was incredibly sweet. She had come from NY as well, so you know the food was absolutely amazing. She even went out of her way to gift my sister and I a little dessert. I will definitely be going back here in the future.

I’m a Washington Twp. resident and this was my first time at The Latin Kitchen. It’s hands down, 5 stars across the board. The empanadas, Cuban sandwich, skirt steak, the entire menu is incredible. You will leave happy, full, and excited to go back. Ownership and staff were great, thank you for a wonderful experience. We will back!

Was running errands and on a whim gave The Latin Kitchen a try. Absolutely great food. I haven’t had empanadas or fried plantains this good in years. The steak sandwhich I also had was great. I will be a regular this place is an absolute gem.
Extremely delicious food cooked by a chef that is very proud of her heritage and it shows!
From the aroma the second I walked in, I knew this place was going to be great. The chef is extremely passionate about showcasing her heritage by scratch-making Latin foods from many different countries. We tried the traditional mofongo, chicken empanadas, and finished with the flan. The shredded pork was spiced nicely with cumin and juicy. The empanadas had finely milled corn in the dough, leading to a soft pillowy texture. And the flan was a great way to cap off a fine meal. We will definitely be back!

Best meal we’ve had in a while. Absolutely delicious and large portions. Highly recommend the corn empanadas (beef, pork, chicken) and skirt steak to share, with leftovers! Skirt steak takes a little longer but well worth the wait. Come out and support this gem so they can one day expand and hopefully open a restaurant with live Latin music and mojitos…please!

Had such a great dinner here tonight. I wish I knew the name of the lovely woman who waited on us who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great meal and experience! Can't recommend the food and staff enough!

This food is delicious and seems very authentic! I liked the other empanadas better than the Venezuelan ones but all the food tasted good. I hope they get arepas I really like arepas. The breakfast food is really cool not a lot of places do a Latin American breakfast so I liked having the option. The server was also friendly and nice and helps. I really like this restaurant and will go again.

Absolutamente Increíble! This hidden gem will take you on a flavor packed tour through the Caribbean and South America. The Pernil was so soft and juicy. The empanadas are fluffy. They even have Colombian soda! Really cool place, I'll definitely return to try the rest of the menu!

Let me start by saying this was completely a happy accident. My wife and I actually thought this was a taco place. 😂 and they do have absolutely amazing tacos but what I fell in love with was the beef empanada. My waiter Flavio gave me one to sample and it was fantastic!! I immediately ordered three. My wife got some kind of steak sandwich it had onion and was cooked exactly to her liking.
My waiter Flavio is nothing short of amazing! This guy is the best! He is very knowledgeable about Latin food and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. Which really surprised me because it's hard to explain anything to me LOL
He was so friendly and attentive it was such a refreshing change of pace from all the restaurants I've been dining at lately. Flavio made me feel like I was the only person in the restaurant. My drink was always full and he was always asking if I needed anything. This is one of the best family-owned restaurants I've been to in a very long time. You can really taste and see the effort that goes into their Latin dishes. I can see their passion in the way they present the food. It's not just thrown on a plate and slid underneath the heat lamp where it sits until somebody feels like grabbing it. My food was hot and fresh and you can taste the pride that went into this meal. My wife and I will definitely be returning and I will be telling everyone how great this place is!!
The only thing I have to complain about is the music. But it's not their problem I don't like Latin music. I like me some rock and roll lol 😁 from my family to yours, thank all of you for the great service and excellent meal! See you soon!!
FLAVIO RULES!!
