It’s become a tradition—my kids talk about it for weeks and always ask if we’re going. The food is consistently incredible, but the homemade bread and the hash brown casserole on the griddle are truly unforgettable. Everything on the menu is delicious! I’ve been coming to Gun Lake every summer for 38yrs and this little building just down the gas station has been so many different things over the years that I’d basically written it off.

Well let me tell you, DO NOT write off C’s for pizza and BBQ.

I ordered 1lb of sliced brisket and meat lovers calzone. Every single bite was amazing.

Brisket: the size of the slice (a bit larger than your common “pencil thickness”) had a great bite to it. I had a nice cross section where flat turned into point which was delicious. The bark was dark and solid, yet not hard or crusty and the salt level on the outside was absolutely perfect…chef’s kiss.

Calzone was standard but also huge and very tasty.

As the 20-something TikTok influencers like to say…run, don’t walk, to C’s. Place is solid.”
