I have been coming to the area for over 54 years and I've never been to Grandma Esther's kitchen. I did not even realize it existed, and it is only 13 minutes away from my property. I love these old school party stores and restaurants. I was told they had been in business for 27 years. Overall I think that it is a great place to stop if you want to support a local business. I do have to say that some of their prices are a bit high. I know a small party store has to charge...
A mom and pop place in the middle of no where saved us hungry bikers! Great food. Grandma is very kind and a great cook! The wet burrito, french fries, and grinders are very tasty. Prices are reasonable! Grandma surprised us all with a slice of peanut butter cake! Absolutely delicious! I was lucky enough to find 4 slices for sale and bought them all!
What a lovely find. Esther was just about as friendly and kind as a human being can be. The Hanging Geraniums I purchased are gorgeous. And don't even get me started on her famous peanut butter cake...Delicious!
