Cavis Pioneer continues the traditions of the Original Cavis that his father and mother ran in downtown Port Huron for ages. The Ground Round with caramelized onions is unmatched by any other restaurant in the area that tried to duplicate it!

We ate there yesterday for the first time, and the food was excellent. Hot and fresh. The waitress was great too, very nice. Can't wait to go back! What a hidden gem!

My kind of place. Daily specials, good prices ,friendly staff ,lots of parking, and so much more. Family owned and operated. If you like to sit and chat at the bar, they have that as well. Say hi to Skip for me when you go. Closed on Sunday.

We ordered pizza and cheesy bread last night it was so good and a great price. We will definitely order from there again. We used to come there for our softball teams years and years ago forgot how good the pizza was!!

The food and value are great. The service is NOT! If you are not a Regular customer or a local, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE ! You will be IGNORED! The service is "hit or miss" for non locals. We recently tried to eat there, it took It took a while for us to even be acknowledged, then we could not get waited on. We waited a good 10 minutes for someone to take our order, and were ignored They were not even that busy, and there were two waitresses working. Meanwhile, the waitress spent her time checking on other tables, chatting With locals, refilling their drinks, and doing her best NOT to wait on us! She knew we were ready to order, but just scowled at us like we did not belong There. We ended up leaving. This is a small family owned place. They have Enough business with the regular customers, so THEY DO NOT NEED YOURS! IT DID NOT USED TO BE LIKE THIS! EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE!
