“We finally tried Chester's Chicken on lapeer rd. and WOW, it was Dee-licious, juicy, yummy crispy skin, Mac and cheese was better than even Popeyes, very cheesy, mashed and gravy awesome and those biscuits are to die for and no need for butter, I'd say everything was way better than KFC or any other chicken place around!!! Also, the girls at the counter were awesome, friendly and fast. Next time we're trying the strips which were big. Thank you and glad it's close by, will be visiting again soon!!! 😊”

“We were staying in Oxford, so I did a service for Dive Bar and came across this one. We stopped in for a couple of drinks and got to chat with the bartender, Megan, who is just wonderful. Best prices around for well drinks and we will be back. Side note, this is a cash bar only.”

“We stopped for some subs on our way to the beach with a group of 5 and these lady took the best care of us! Not to mention how quick they were too! They also labeled each of our subs for us! We were in and out with our subs within 10 minutes! Amazing service! Also the freshest veggies I’ve seen in a subway in a while!!”

“Amazing! I let my 5 year old pick out his flavors for a custom ice cream cake. He chose funfetti with cotton candy flavored ice-cream. I thought, eh, that’s probably gross but whatever it’s his birthday! It was OUTSTANDING! Cake was moist and ice cream tasted amazing. We found our new go-to place for ice cream cakes! “Yesterday I found the elegant Croque Monsieur was amazing with delicate ham & creamy cheese encased in hearty bread, very upscale & filling. It was so good I thought about it for hours afterwards. My husband is severely allergic to MSG, guar gum, xanthan gum, & carrageenan so he's hesitant to try much besides fish & chips and hamburgers bec those ingredients are often added to spices, sauces, dressings, even some breads, but the menu there is so tempting he's bound to try filet mignon & salmon, etc., soon. Thank you to the owner & the chef for giving us great food to look forward to! The service was exceptional, too.”

“My family has been coming here for 4 years and can truly say this place is amazing . We have never once had a bad meal here . There is such a variety of food to choose from which i love . But the atmosphere and the people are awesome ! I wish i could remember my waitress from last she was phenomenal! Which goes to say for the rest of staff as well ! Their drinks are so good ! “My sister and I have been talking about trying this place. Unfortunately we get to dinner together enough! Today I went with my boyfriend, it was my choice for my (late with him) birthday dinner. I ordered the Lulu plate, a chicken kabob, beef kabob, kafta kebob and two falafels. I picked the Lebanese salad and rice as my side. It was so good! The garlic spread stuff at the beginning is really good too! I didn’t eat very much of my dinner, I was full on pita bread with garlic spread and my salad. I ate the falafels and tastes everything else a few times. I will gladly eat my leftover for my lunches or dinner the next few days. And I will definitely make sure my sister goes!”

“after having surgery recently i was in no condition to prepare our usual thanksgiving dinner. i saw that Rix rANCH WOULD BE "Open". Well that was a bit off but I called and spoke with the sweetest lady. She took my order even though she sounded more stressed than Mrs. Claus trying to get the Big Man off for his long nights flight, ha ha. We arrived, my SO went in tp collect our feast. He came out with armloads of food. I ordered for four so we could have leftovers. Oh my goodness!!!!! I do mean ARMLOADS!!!!!! He had to make two trips. Succulent turkey, both dark and light meat, creamy mashed potatoes seasoned to perfection,perfect sweet potatoes(I'd love her recipe for these), green bean casserole like my mom made, yummy gravy, stuffing with lots of celery and onions YES, cranberry sauce, and even pumpkin pie for dessert. what more could I have asked for, nothing. I was amazed at how much wonderful, FLAVORFUL and hot food we were provided by this tiny little RESTAURANT and bar. Id never been in here or even paid much attention to this place be fore. SHAME ON ME. that has changed forever. if they can roll this out on one of the most important "FOODIE" days of the year, I'd really love to see what they do on a regular day.”
