Being new to South Haven, we wanted to determine the go to place for breakfast. We have found it. We stopped in at 8:30am on a Saturday. We were greeted and seated immediately (it looked like the place was at about 30% capacity). Our coffees and waters were on our table within five minutes. We ordered a cinnamon roll (since y’all seem to love them), corn beef hash, and a breakfast sandwich. The food arrived within eight to ten minutes, hot and delicious. Oh, and the cinnamon roll was ridiculous. I’ll finish the other half in the morning. The staff was attentive and friendly. Excellent place.

It was our first time trying this restaurant and certainly not our last! Delicious food, fast service, great atmosphere, and our server Richard was attentive and wonderful. I highly recommend here if you want a tasty breakfast or lunch!

Our food is always delicious, however the service is lacking. My husband and I came in yesterday and put our names down for a 2 top, and then a few couples behind us had the same, we watched every one of them get seated before us. I'm not sure if I just get the "pleasure" of having the same server every time, or if all servers provide same level of service. I did hand a cash tip to the gentlemen that was running food non stop with a smile whole we were there, I felt he definitely needed recognition. I hope he knows his efforts were not unnoticed! now if only our server put in that same effort...

Good place to just sit and eat a meal. The atmosphere felt like I was at home. I get food here all the time and find it very delicious props to the cooks and every one there.

Breakfast was very good. Coffee good, farmer's hash was one one of the best breakfasts I've ever had, but they seemed short staffed. Took a long time to get seated, took a long time to place our order and it took a long time for the food to come out. The cinnamon roll was fantastic, but it would have been great if it came out with the coffee as requested. Alas, we waited a loooong time and everything came out at once. Again, probably short staffed because of the season.

We stayed in South Haven for the weekend and went to Six Chicks for breakfast. I ordered the classic breakfast with house potatoes. I loved that the house potatoes included red skin and sweet potatoes. My wife ordered the biscuits and gravy. She said it was the best restaurant biscuits and gravy she’s had. I ordered one pancake for a sweet treat. It was just right! I highly recommend Six Chicks!
