It was my first time trying this place, so I wanted to try a little bit of everything. The cilantro lime rice had a nice balance of flavor, with both the cilantro and lime coming through well. The tofu was almost perfect, slightly sweet, a little spicy, and full of flavor. The steak was well marinated, and both the steak and shrimp were tender, juicy, and delicious. Nice cozy atmosphere, yes you have to fill out a card to place your order, but I think it adds to the experience and makes it more personal so you can get exactly what you like and how you like it. This is not a Mexican restaurant or Taco Bell. If you want either or, go to those places. This is a nice place to experience something a little different. Oh, and try the smashburger taco!
I recently visited this spot, and I’m so glad I did! The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff was warm, attentive, and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. I’ll definitely be back!
