Clementine was once the place to dine now its costing every dime. Food is mediocre menu changed. $91 for 2 goldminer burgers and wife had salmon and soup is beyond expensive. Definitely will seek out better dining while in south haven.

I stopped here for lunch during the week. I had the onion rings and they were excellent. I also ordered the corned beef with coleslaw and both were delicious. The service was great too

We started with the onion rings which we LOVE!! They weren't the same and we are not sure if it was the breading or cooking. The breading was smoother than normal plus tougher and a little doughy. They were ok but not as good.
The double eagle salad was EXCELLANT and what my husband normally orders. He ordered the honey mustard (normally gets thousand Island) and did not like it at all. His personal preference not Clem's fault.
I had the French dip (high roller) with French onion soup as the side. I love this sandwich and the soup and get it often. It was very good and the soup was hot & good too.
The only reason I didn't give a 5 is because of the onion rings.
Our server was really good also but I didn't get her name.

Just okay. I ordered the open face burger with mushrooms on toasted rye and caramelized onions.
The rye was completely soggy, the patty was flavorless, and the onions weren't caramelized. Pretty disappointed. Fries were good, though. I considered asking them to fix it, but I had two small kids with me and anyone with kids knows that their bandwidth is limited, so asking for a fixed sandwich would take too long.
Overpriced for the quality.

The atmosphere was great. The restaurant is in an old bank that was built in the 1800s.

I have wanted to come here for several visits and finally made it but was very disappointed. Walleye had obviously been reheated rather than freshly prepared and baked potato was not cooked through. Limited wine selection. Service was good, but there were very few customers, so not sure that would always be the case. Wanted to love it but can’t go back.

It had been 6 months but gave Clems a try again. Ordered perch plate and it was way over cooked and tasted like straight toasted garlic. Couldn’t eat it. Much better perch in a number of places in SH. Walleye was also overdone and only able to eat half. Zucchini and service was good.

We have a warm nostalgia for Clems, but there is a sort of fading glory to the place off-season. It hadn't quite warmed up for the Holiday Season but was a great place to meet old friends and family and we visited three times in one week. Booths near the bar are cosiest.

In the quaint town of South Haven there is a wonderful restaurant with a great bar in an old brick building. Clementine's Saloon has all the charm you want, friendly bartenders, and great food. Be sure to stop by but if it's summer anticipate a wait.

Normally I love everything on the menu. Had the Cajun chicken and bacon pasta, very disappointed it did not have real bacon. Definitely crumbles of some sort. Bummer.
