Summers in Michigan are truly phenomenal especially on a sunny 84 degree day. I have enjoyed the treasures of SOHA since being a freshman at WMU in the 1990s. Foolishly or wisely (depending on your point of view), I used to kick it on South Haven beaches instead of studying hard on beautiful days. Hattie is absolutely incredible! She is so personable, friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve been to harbor light several times and I keep returning for the beer but mostly for Hattie, if you come in definitely ask for her! She deserves a raise!
My husband is a hobby brewer so we love checking out local breweries when visiting new places and Harbor Light was a great stop on our trip. Even though they don’t serve food you are allowed to order from local areas or bring it in while they serve you great brews and ciders. It’s in a great location and the service was great. Cool spot to check out when in South Haven!
