Very unique and fun gastropub near downtown South Haven. They served our large party very well, food and drinks came out quick. The margarita flight was delicious. Our food was amazing! Service was great as well. Kids enjoyed the blocks and giant connect four too.

Came here on a Saturday for lunch. I ordered the brisket sandwich and my wife had the mahi tacos, both were delicious. The atmosphere is casual and the games and chalk kept my kids busy. Inside was modern and the staff was friendly. I would give everything a 8.5 out of 10.

We went to New Park on our first night in SoHa. The food was delicious—my son’s mac and cheese was awesome and I enjoyed my pulled pork plate. The live music was fun and my son appreciated the chalk that was available to draw with while we waited. Unfortunately, service was lacking compared to the food and atmosphere. We did have to wait for a long time to initially be waited on for drinks and the waitress forgot our waters and a part of my son’s meal. She never checked in with us after getting our food, and she seemed like she was juggling a lot of different tasks.

I visited this spot with three friends, and overall, we had a fun night out with a few hiccups along the way. My friends each ordered drinks—a Long Island, a lavender mojito, and a Somethin' Sweet—and all of them said their drinks were tasty. We started with the onion petal appetizer, which came in a generous basket and was really good—crispy and flavorful.
For our main courses, we tried a variety: Chicken Tikka Masala, the Pulled Pork Sammie, the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, and the Gastropub Burger, which was mine. Everyone seemed happy with their meals, and both the regular and sweet potato fries were really good, but unfortunately, my burger came out pink even though I asked for it well-done. I only ended up eating half. Thankfully, our server Jose was quick to step in—he spoke with the manager and had it taken off the bill, which I really appreciated.
Jose was honestly the highlight of the visit. Despite only being on his own for two days after just one day of training, he was friendly, attentive, and kept us laughing the whole time. Even with some other minor issues—like dirty silverware, no slushies, and a shortage of small plates—his great attitude made the experience much more enjoyable.

Server Otto was very attentive. The hostess was polite and found us a table in the shade. The walleye filets were tender and delicious. We ate outside under umbrellas, but inside seating is available. Fun atmosphere in the heart of downtown. Highly recommend. And Oh - you can bring a fur friend. Just make sure it's on a leash and has paperwork to prove Vax status is up to date.

We stopped in last night to put in a to-go order and get a drink at the bar while we waited, and that little outing proved one of our best experiences of the trip. Dan was up front about the fact that the restaurant was busy and the to go order might take some time. We weren’t in a rush so we opted to stay and enjoy the music while waiting. Despite being busy, he was attentive and provided excellent service. There was another couple next to us who asked him to surprise them with an interesting new drink, and he delivered. They were raving about how unique and delicious his choices were. We were all impressed with his service and will come back specifically thanks to him.

We sat at the bar for 20 minutes…..NO ONE, no one acknowledged us. When we decided to leave because of NO ONE saying a word to us I crossed by the bar tender in a red bandana he said “tell the owner”.

I got a call when we were placing our order so I know I waited 18 minutes without my server getting water or our drink order (I could wait on the food). I was a server for 7 years. I hate leaving bad feedback. This was “nobody cares” more than bad service. Her co-workers watched her fail to wait on any of her 3 tables and nobody helped her.
Reply: It’s not slander to have a bad experience and you don’t need a POS system to put water on my table.

Best tortilla soup, likely of my lifetime!! It was very unexpectedly delicious! We sat down at a table outside, service was fast and efficient. The server was friendly. We had an amazing time, even in the rain! We will definitely come again!
