Great place for people with allergies. They have separate scoops and separate containers to allow those with allergies to get hard serve ice cream safely.

29 flavors all amazing! They have a variety of cones to choose from and all come with a bowl and spoon no matter what as they know how it goes abd have generous portions. Multiple picnic tables for outside seating.

This was a tough call for me. I know this is a very popular place and I wanted to like it…. however, I had a bothersome service issue that I’m having a hard time looking past.
The upside is that the ice cream was good and the service for everybody, but me, was fast.
The downside is that the ice cream is way overpriced, but more importantly, I had a service issue that I was unhappy with.
After my order had been taken, I had observed several people that were in line behind me were being served. I also noticed that they had been given a fob that lit up when their order was supposed to be ready. After watching several people get served ahead of me, I finally asked, “ was I supposed to receive one of those?” I was told not necessarily.
I watched what I realized was my order being given to somebody behind me in line…. His wife realized what was going on and made it clear that when she was handed her stuff with a duplicate item, which would’ve been mine in replacement of the item initially given to her husband, the staff told her that they couldn’t take back any mistakes and gave her husband the second ice cream that was supposed to be mine. Now I was left watching somebody who had two ice creams and I had none.
Through a few more comedy of errors I finally got my ice cream … somewhere between 10 to 20 people behind me were served first and I was a bit frustrated to say the least. No apologies from the staff for the miscommunication on their part, just par for the course…..I guess.
Slightly better, communication, and better handling of the overall situation and I probably would’ve given them four stars, but they really drop the ball at every opportunity that a correction could’ve been made.

The portions are huge and you can tell they use quality ingredients. As mentioned in other reviews, what is missing is to have a better searing area, water (it can get too sweet too quickly), and restrooms.

We LOVE Sherman's! I need to say, though, that it is 2024 and the amount of plastic waste at Sherman's is UNACCEPTABLE. there is no way to enjoy some ice cream without getting a plastic spoon and a plastic cup. please please do something about this. all you teenagers working there- speak up!!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and there was a constant long line, which was a very good indicator of a great place. It’s right by a very busy and loud main street though so I wasn’t a big fan of that.
Now, we visit a lot of ice cream places wherever we are in different places. This was one of the best ice cream we have had. Creamy and not too sweet. It has the pull that I am looking for on a properly-made ice cream. They also have quite a lot of yummy flavors. The staff were pretty efficient with taking and providing the orders. There’s a few sitting places there and we were lucky enough to get a picnic table all to ourselves despite the busyness. I highly recommend this place.
Edit: We are back again this week for the last time before going back to our home state. I didn’t notice before that they have a lot more picnic tables on the sides of the building and in the parking lot, an oversize garage full of picnic tables. Much warmer in this windy day and a lot quieter from the busy and loud road nearby.

We go because their ice cream is the best, but we waited 1 hour in line on a Saturday night! They only had 1 kid taking orders and 6-8 kids in back filling orders slowly , the one adult in there was filling napkin holders , they need a more efficient system for handling the orders on busy summer nights
