This is a charming little spot in South Haven. The prices are a bit higher than comparable places, and the space is small, so getting a table can be challenging. I had the soup of the day (mushroom and rice) which was excellent. The tempura shrimp rolls were just okay; I couldn’t really find any shrimp in them. The tiramisu, however, was delicious.

We had dinner here while staying in town for the weekend! Great service and love the small plate setup. I like the ability to be able to order smaller portions, but be able to taste a larger variety of food. The tiramisu is probably the best I’ve ever had.

Edit: I went back and ordered the jerk shrimp with the coconut rice again. Except this time, it was so skimpy that it made me very frustrated. There were eight shrimp and two tablespoons of coconut rice. I'd be embarrassed to put that small amount of rice with a 16.00 appetizer. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves that's just greedy and skimpy. The service was total garbage the second time I went. Y'all are inconsistent clearly. I was so impressed with the service and the flavor the first time. It just didn't match up at all the second time.
Outstanding food and service! I ordered the jerk chicken and it was outstanding. Such a good plate and then the rice was so good. It was coconut rice with chives. Yummy. I can't remember my server's name but she was excellent.

Phenomenal experience every time! My boyfriend and I always stop by for some food when we’re in South Haven. Thought it would be the perfect, intimate spot for my mom’s wedding dinner. And it was… EVERYTHING WAS WONDERFUL! From the food, to the people, to Becky who was an absolute sweetheart as our server. Cannot say enough incredible things about this place. Every single dish you can tell is perfectly curated and just yummy! Always so so YUMMY!!! I should mention our party was not large, roughly 15 people. We called weeks in advance to ensure they could handle a party of that size. Reservation are not needed for small parties, but definitely call in advance for large groups :) If you’re ever in need of a spot for a lovely anniversary date, place to take the parents, or just looking for some dang good food in South Haven, this place is you wanna go!

It had been some time since I ate at taste and when we did dinner the other night, even better than I remember!! From the martinis to all the shareables, everything was fantastic! Portion sizes are great and plenty to share. My leftovers did not make it home. Definitely will be back soon :)

Great food! DEFINITELY better than The River Bottom, whose owner is incredibly rude and disrespectful. The staff here is excellent, just like the food and atmosphere.
