We just recently found this place. It is fantastic!! The pasta has a great texture and the Bolognese sauce is to die for. We are hooked. I need to branch out as far as my order but I have a hard time because I just LOVE that spaghetti!!

Been here a few times now for lunch, the sandwiches are excellent as are the breads you can buy. We’ll be trying pizza next. The lady who was working the counter during our last visit was very helpful in choosing an entree for lunch.

My family ordered dinner from Mimmo’s this evening and we were blown away. My parents are new Salem residents and we have been finding all the “must try” restaurants and this was our favorite so far. The vodka sauce was excellent, the noodles tasted very fresh (especially the meat ravioli), the bread was addictive, and the pastries were outstanding (try the sfogliatele!). We will definitely be returning to try more of the menu soon, but this instantly became one of our favorite Italian spots.

Second time there, and can’t remember why I haven’t gone more often. The food is fresh, hot and so good. We did a pick up and got gelato as an appetizer. lol. Delicious!! The staff were so friendly. We will be back. Prices are similar to the coney islands and so much better!! 3 meals and feed our family of 4 with leftovers. Go, you won’t be disappointed. And as an Italian, their Lemon Gelato was better than my Grandmas.

I’ve only been here a few times because 1. It’s kind of pricey and 2. The girls who work there are quite rude.
Tonight I decided to give it another try but I definitely won’t be back again.
I asked a pretty simple question to the girl helping me, “Does the eggplant parm come with pasta?”.
I used to live in the Tri-state area and have had all kinds of Italian food of all levels there. Every other time I have ordered this dish it comes with angel hair, so, in my opinion this is not a dumb question.
Well, the girl helping me didn’t know the answer so she went to ask one of the others. I could see this happening as they were all out front and the one who replied, “No” did so with such a look of disdain on her face paired with an eye roll and other annoyed expression as if I was a complete and utter idiot and she was extremely inconvenienced by having to help a customer by answering a question.
I get customers can be annoying but maybe try to hide your hatred until you’re in the back of the house. This is not the first time I have encountered these disdainful looks from an employee which makes me think it must be the work culture there, and if that’s the case, that’s just sad.
I didn’t mind ordering and paying for pasta to go with the dish I just didn’t know if that would be necessary or not.
Either way it was a failure because 2/3 pieces of the eggplant parm were inedible since they were extremely thick and difficult to cut through let alone chew.
The whole experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth. In the future I’ll be going elsewhere such as Duo Vino where I’ve only ever encountered kindness.

It’s a take out place. There’s not much in the area and this is a great option. The food was great and flavorful. The bread was very tasty. Inside there are breakfast croissants, to go ice cream, gelato and uncooked pasta to purchase. They also have a decent coffee option!
