Passion fruit grouper was killer. We had Yucca bites as a side and some flavored Coladas. It's a great location and great food

My first visit to Bacco Ristorante was phenomenal. From the very attentive wait staff to the cheesecake dessert this was a memorable experience. The food was well prepared and the plate visually appealing. I had the veal parmigiano. Very delicious. Light and tender with a flavorful tomatoe forward sauce that made every bite delectable.

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday and am so bummed that it took me this long to find this place, especially since last night was their last night of service before closing! The restaurant was clean and had a homey feel - like going to have a home-cooked Italian meal with your family. Our server was so kind and thanked us heartily for choosing Bacco for our birthday celebration. She did a great job explaining all the specials and I ended up choosing the artichoke-tomato-avocado salad that they had on special. It was light, refreshing, and delicious! Their bread is delicious and buttery - perfect for mopping up pasta sauce. I had the pesto primavera which was chock full of fresh vegetables, which were all cooked perfectly. Nothing mushy, and everything seasoned wonderfully. My boyfriend had the eggplant Parmesan which was classic and delicious as well. We both commented on how tasty the tomato sauce was! Finally, they gave us a piece of tiramisu with a birthday candle to help celebrate, which was very kind of them and also delicious! Looking forward to trying out the owner's other restaurant in Birmingham (Casa Pernoi) in the near future.

Absolutely incredible. Housemade pasta is superb, and the sauces are all fantastic. Best Italian in the Detroit area, period.

Had not been there in a long time, found gift card and it had expired, they did honor some value. Four of us had a wonderful waitress and we had a wonderful time. Italian wedding soup was the best soup my wife has had, my Black Cod was excellent the service was great. Only question was why did we wait so long to return to this gem.

For the price, my dollars continue to go to Andiamo. They are closing their doors soon, but for a long time this was considered the finest Italian restaurant on the west side. It was loud in there, no problem, we were in the mood to party. Our waitress was italian, had a quiet, high, squeaky voice. I never heard a word she said. Specials were not written down and I had trouble hearing her. No biggie. The food came out hot. My fiance order eggplant parm. It was mushy and had no flavor. I ordered veal Siciliano. Kinda dry, the amoghio was good. I had pasta with meat sauce. Overdone homade pasta is the worst. Mushy. Sauce was pretty salty. The others in our party seemed pleased. My martini was perfect!

To start off on a positive note- throughout the years, I have had positive experiences in regards to food, service, and overall experience. However, the other day, aside from the wonderful service, I was immensely disappointed. I came here for dinner upon a reservation that my friend and I waited for an entire week to attend. My friend and I split three entrees. Chicken piccata, eggplant parmigiana, and strozapretti norcina (usually always my favorite dish). I do not want to go into great depth. Although to say the least, I genuinely feel as though because of the fact that this restaurant will be closing indefinitely sometime this month, there has been a harsh drastic decline. That being- in the overall quality, taste, and freshness of the food. Within that, lack of care and consideration in the upholding of the longstanding reputability that this establishment has acquired throughout the years. Very disappointed. Not a good way to close out so many years of wonderful and great dining experiences. It was also my friends first time here, I thought it would be nice to bring her somewhere that I have enjoyed throughout the years, before they officially close. She was equally disappointed in the food served, as I had given way for high expectations.

We had a work meeting in the back of the restaurant. It was fantastic. They created a custom menu for our event. They even worked with a few of our guests dietary restrictions. The apps were great. The side salad was great. The lunch portions were large. The service was fantastic. My cup was never empty.

Service was slow and Had been there several times before. Started with the scallops appetizer for $28. I was surprised only two medium size scallops came out and the flavor was under whelming. Other than that the main courses were good as usual.
