Best place east of Glendale to get Lahmadjoun. Karoline and Harry are both fantastic. Absolute hidden gem.

If you're looking for delicious, home-style Armenian cuisine, look no further than Basmajian Bakery. This family-owned bakery is a true gem, serving up some of the best Armenian staples around.I recently had the pleasure of visiting Basmajian Bakery, and I have to say, I was blown away by the food. The lahmajun in particular was a standout - each bite delivered a medley of delicious flavors, with the perfect balance of spice and savory goodness. And the Manaish, dolma, and lentil kufte were also fantastic, each one bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. But what really sets Basmajian Bakery apart is their commitment to the community. They provide excellent catering services to the local Armenian community, ensuring that everyone can enjoy delicious, home-style cuisine no matter the occasion. The atmosphere at Basmajian Bakery is warm and welcoming, with a friendly staff that's always happy to answer any questions you might have about the menu or the bakery's history. And the prices are incredibly reasonable - you can get a full meal for a great price, making this an excellent spot for lunch or dinner.Overall, I can't recommend Basmajian Bakery enough. This is a true hidden gem, serving up some of the best Armenian cuisine around. If you're in the area, you absolutely have to check it out - you won't be disappointed!

The lahmajoon and manti were simply delicious. The family behind it all is a wonderful reflection of the Armenian way of life.

This place might look unassuming, in the back of a grocery store, but the food is delicious! Flavorful fresh-baked zaatar bread and spinach pies. Nice family running the bakery too.

I just picked up a whole bunch of lahmajune(s) and vegetarian grape leaves. Outstanding, as usual. I don't work for them and I wasn't asked or paid to say this, but I'm telling you, check them out. You won't be disappointed! ☺️

Wow…so delicious, slim bread…I recommend to alllll
Best Armenian bakery. Lahmajoon is the best. We have tried quite a few places this is the authentic Armenian bakery. Wish I knew about them when they had the restraint. Hopefully they will be able to open one again!! Let’s give them our support

The best Lahmejune I have ever eaten. Very thin dough topped with perfectly seasoned beef and vegetables.
They come packed six to a bag, separated with wax paper so that they don’t stick together. They freeze very well.
The reaction to a recent Facebook mention has made this small family bakery a very popular place. Pre-Order your Lahmejune ahead of time, and you will be VERY HAPPY. Mrs. Basmajian also makes other Armenian foods as special order.
She also makes vegetarian Lahmejune with mushrooms, instead of meat. I will try it on my next visit.
If you live in Michigan, you must pre-order and make the worthwhile drive to satisfy your taste buds.
