It's Big Boy! I had take out and the staff was very nice. I ordered 2 Slim Jim's and they were just as I remembered. However, I had stomach related issues hours later. Was the only thing I ate that day. Could have been from the night before. I'll try again some day just to be sure because the service and food was good.

I WAS Soo excited To See This Big boy This Day It Was MY Granddaughter Birthday and before I Took Her To Dance She Asked For (ICE CREAM) SO WE WENT TO BIGBOY I GOT HER A HOT FUDGE BROWNIE WITH A CHERRY ON TOP AND WIP CREAM SHE LOVED IT IT WAS JUST AS PRETTY AS THE PICTURE

Delicious food like when I was a kid, not! I was seated right away. There were 3 servers and very few customers. 4 tables exactly. I ordered my food. The fish was good and nice portions. My main issue was the server not being attentive to my needs. When I was done it took a long time to get someones attention. That part took forever. No check was given to me and no lids for my condiments. The servers are elderly ladies and the cashier has an unpleasant demeanor, like she did not want to be bothered. In addition the restaurant smelled like raw sewage.

The food is standard big boy fair, the hot fudge sundae cake is still absolutely amazing. Drawbacks - Fox News playing on the TV and no salad bar or buffet. It's very slow, all the staff appear to be retirement age and I am surprised they're still open with the low amount of business. However, the low traffic is not due to the food or service

Death of an American institution is what came to mind. I grew up with Elias Big Boy in the 70'sdown the street from my child hood home on E Grand Blvd and Gratiot. My family has visited the one in Madison Height several times and have not been there in quite a while. So, when I was taking my daughter to a doctor's appointment, we both said the very same thing, we haven't been there in a while. When she was done with her appointment, we pulled into the restaurant parking lot. The smell coming through the door should have been our first clue. Service was my second and the food was the camel that broke our back. Will not be back anytime soon!

Amazing Staff! Plenty of parking spaces!! Good was good! I left my wallet in the bathroom by mistake. I called Big Boys immediately they found it n kept it until I made it back up there! All my money n items in my wallet was untouched!! Very Honest employee! I even tried to give her money for honesty n she wouldn't let me
