Dissapointed. Order through doordash, which that was ok. I ordered the chicken and catfish combo which was ok. I also ordered small oakra that didnt have much flavor, a small mac n' cheese that came COLD I mean straight out of the fridge cold. And the container had the nerve to says "always fresh", yet you can tell it was not. And the lemonade was nasty. Wont be ordering again.

I went there for the first time. I got chicken breast, catfish, potato salad, and coleslaw (and two drinks all for about $23). The potato salad and coleslaw sides are in 4 ounce cups, which is okay because the rest of the food fills you up. The portion size was good and it was very delicious.

Okra and Mozz cheese sticks... That's all I ordered The receipt shows It was ordered well-done but the okra was mushy and salty. That white powder is so salty I couldn't even eat the food I ordered the cheese sticks are coated with that stuff It's not even enjoyable.

Although the food is cooked well. I purchased fish from there a month ago and got sick, yesterday I purchased chicken from there and today I am sick. They must not be cleaning or changing out the grease. I would not recommend eating here until they confirm the process of which they clean the fryer and grease changing process.

Captain Jays never disappoints. They fry their chicken well and it's delicious. They have always been our dinner back up when we don'T want to cook. My only concern is to quit using those small chickens. Get bigger chicken wings please.

I have only recently started going back to this Captain Jays, location #118 because of the NEWLY appointed manager, Tyron Bowens. Mr. Bowens is very respectful towards customers and his team members. I've seen him deal with customers who are high as a kite...he's polite and respectful. Customers who are loud and ignorant...he's helpful and ready to resolve issues. And then there's regular customers like myself who are greeted at the door and promptly waited on. Mr Bowen will go far with this type of work ethic. Shout out to Tyron Bowens for bringing professionalism back!!!! ???

working very slowly and unprofessionally, they asked several times what my order was and each time they said 5 more minutes and so I spent 1 hour of mine!

The young lady in the front was nice even though. I knew that was her on the phone and did not give me full detail. But the food was horrible. My hushpuppy we're not done. The okra was not done and my fish was far hard couldn't even Eat it and everything was greasy like they didn't change their oil. I will not be back at all it made me sick, captain Jay's fellow off

Friday October 13th. Don't go during lunch hour. I typically avoid this time because of the crowd. Today, there was an urgent request. Horrible experience. Chicken was overcooked and took longer than communicated. I mistakenly didn't check my receipt. I thought ordered something that didn't get rung up accordingly. I didn't give attitude but I received from both the cook and the male gender front end associate. The soft spoken lady front end associate was and is ALWAYS nice. I am there regularly, I have never seen either of the two with the attitude working there before. There is too much competition in the area for poor attitude. Give it to where it is given. Not everyone deserves a negative attitude.
