The staff's service was truly excellent, and they were very welcoming and accommodating. I was also offered complimentary chicken tenders with my order, which allowed for product sampling. Both the tenders and chicken bites were exceptionally flavorful

Hadn't been here in a while, and won't be back chicken bites & cod were horrible to much batter and the potatoes were dry. Quality has seriously diminished in my opinion!

I’ll stick with a 5. Under staffed but nowadays that usually means people don’t show. Took a bit for food but they were courteous and kind and food quality was great.

Not the cleanest restaurant. I love the location in Livonia and in my opinion this location is no comparison to the Livonia location. This was me second time visiting this location and my opinion is the same.

I did a DoorDash pickup on my lunch and the food was ice cold. I went back to the establishment and made the older gentlemen touch the ice cold food and was under the impression I was a Doordasher and I shouldn’t be concerned with the food temp. I informed the gentleman it didn’t matter if I was the delivery food person or customer. You’re not suppose to service ICE COLD FOOD.

So please be aware going to this location and/or using DoorDash

I ordered through a delivery app today, 8/7/2025. In my white piece chicken combo dinner, the chicken was SO dry, massively overcooked and not fresh. It was so dry that the inside meat was slightly crispy. Pretty inedible. I also ordered chicken bites and shack potatoes and those were fine.

I don’t get why some people are hating on this Chicken Shack. One lady on Yelp actually gave it one star because everything is made to order… like that’s a bad thing?! That’s literally the reason I keep coming back. Everything comes out hot, fresh, and made right. I’ll wait a few extra minutes for real food, thank you very much.

Compare that to pulling up at some fast food joint and getting a cold chicken sandwich, soggy nuggets, and fries that taste like they’ve been sitting since breakfast. No thanks.

At this Chicken Shack, you get quality. The chicken is crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. Fries are golden and seasoned right. The whole place just hits different. It’s not just a step above fast food—it’s in a whole other category.

Keep doing your thing, Chicken Shack. I’ll take hot and fresh over fast and forgettable any day.

These are the smallest pieces of chicken I think I've seen at any chicken place. This wouldn't be an issue if they weren't charging $18 for a 4 piece dinner.

The chicken and the garlic butter i had was very bland, no flavor. Normally they both have just the right amount of flavor and the garlic butter normally is bursting with flavor.
