Issues from the start. Host claimed they had not enough severs, nor tables for two people, no problem we will order out. Placed order for 2 catfish dinner, cost us 50 dollars. Looked my receipt and I was charged 8 dollars tip (for carry out?!!). They snuck that in on me. Got home food was terrible! Cole slaw was dry, was like a salad with no dressing, catfish was fishy and under cook. I like to support my people but Black owned businesses need a lot of work when it comes to customer service. Many Black owned businesses have a sense of entitlement. At Debos, you can feel it when you walk in. Not a very hospitable place, maybe for the regulars but not for the people who pop in for a meal on their way home. Get it together Debos, I’m sure others have had this same experience. And, by they way, as me and wife sat in the car, for 35 minutes waiting on our food, other customers walked right up and must have got seated because we saw no one came out after walking in.

So, I came with a large group, some of us were on time so we were seated which i thought was nice of them. We didn’t have to wait for the whole party to arrive to start ordering which was a plus. The only reason I cant give 5 stars was because 2 of our parties drinks didn’t come out for quite some time so they were comped and my shrimp order was wrong and never corrected. Strong was our server, he was pleasant, friendly, understanding and worked well with our large group. Catfish fillets and fried okra were so good. Drinks meh(lemon drop)Parking: It can get tight

I went here March 1st with my partner. The restaurant hostess was so nonchalant & moved slow. We stood at the door just looking at her and its like she didn’t realize we were there. Like 2 mins later i said party of 2! She said “follow me”, there was no greeting. She then took us to a dirty table where we had to wait for it to be wiped down. She then said “i’ll find you a server”. I was annoyed my her performance or work ethic. If we didn’t have such a great waitress; this would’ve been 2 stars or less.Our waitress Breezy was awesome. She was nice, she seemed happy, and she kept checking in on us. Breezy, answered all of my questions. It was my first time here. She was patient with my indecisive partner lol. I had to flag her down though when i was ready to pay. And the place wasn’t full or that busy.It was cold in the restaurant and they seat us by a window in winter in Michigan lol. I didn’t like that i ate with my coat on!The food was good to me but the menu is pretty basic. They food also took a while to come out. Like 30mins or so. The tenders were not breaded as much as i would like. It was really light. The sauce was nice. I love a good salad and the Cobb salad was everything! I don’t like that they put the chicken on the side lol. But i mixed it well with the dressing and added it. I feel like that should be an option not an automatic thing!The coogi sweater daiquiri was a good recommendation from my waiter Breezy. I shared it with my partner because i was already cold and the drink didn’t make it no better. They need to have the temperature up in the winter. I used the womens room and the toilet looked terrible. They need to replace the toilet seats. And it was some type of water or liquid on the floor. With a slight sewer smell.My partner didn’t like that his beef Philly cheesesteak sandwich didn’t automatically come with a side. I thought it was weird also. It was such a big basket with a smaller sandwich in side.The music definitely could’ve been better. It seemed like it was controlled on someones phone. Vibes kept changing. There was no DJ on a Friday at 6-6:30p. But, I’ll be back to try again in hotter weather. Especially for that cobb salad lol.Parking: They have a nice sized, private and free restaurant parking lot.

My first time visit and i had an Awesome time. The food was delicious And the drinks we're on point. I had a very large party but our waitress Chelsea was amazing. She was professional and very attentive to our party. She controlled the crowd amongst many food and drink orders be given. I'm a family DJ and the music enhanced the atmosphere, i highly recommend this restaurant.Parking: There's plenty of parking but keep in mind it's a busy place so parking may be limited.

We went for Sunday brunch. The food was excellent I had the cat fish and grits with a side of waffles. We had the strawberry lemonade mimosa tower. The music was good the atmosphere was positive and peaceful wonderful
