My first trying visiting & when I decided to get a hot coffee which I usually don’t even at other establishments. The coffee had a great flavor and no after taste, which is very rare. The cinnamon roll with icing was great! Worth it!

I absolutely love this donut shop. The selection is amazing — from classic glazed to fun specialty flavors — and everything I’ve tried has been fresh and perfectly made. The shop is clean, the service is quick and friendly, and the donuts taste just as good as they look. Definitely a local gem worth visiting!

This donut shop is a true gem! The donuts are always fresh, soft, and absolutely delicious you can taste the quality in every bite. They have a great variety of flavors, from the classics to creative specials, and each one is made perfectly. The staff is also friendly! Better come early though, because they run out of donuts quickly, that’s how good they are! Hands down, the best donuts in Southfield!

While a lot of these reviews say everything is good and “fresh” I can tell you they certainly aren’t while in the process of making extra donuts like the Boston cream they had a big bucket pulling out filling to fill the machine while claiming everything I hand made including fillings and glazes, I overheard a hushed conversation between employees about black mold within the building along with ants where drinks and donuts are… so not only are employees working that in so were me and my children were as well I’m appalled at pure negligence of this business. I will never come back to donut bar knowingly having employees work in black mold is disgusting behavior I can only imagine how the rest of the kitchen looks if that is an acceptable state to have your business in not only that being okay with black mold exposure for your employees shows you do not care about them just disgusting the person “Ray” is absolutely the most annoying person in customer service I’ve ever experienced I’ve never met someone so lazy and faking an entire personality.. seemed genuinely annoyed when I asked for a latte which also did not taste very good…

My son and I had our first in person visit during our mommy-son afternoon date and Ray was incredibly kind and courteous. Although the flavor I requested was no longer available we left happy and excited to try what Ray provided us. We'll be back, albeit earlier in the day, when the selection is fuller.

I “have to” drive up to Birmingham from Ypsilanti for some appointments my kids have in the area. The singular thing that motivates me to make that trip each time is not the well-being of my children, or the fact that I’ve already paid thousands of dollars for the services they’re receiving, or that it makes me feel like a present, involved parent. The singular thing that motivates me is that “we’ll” (read: I’ll) get to go to Donut Bar. It’s all I think about for the entire drive and through the appointments—and then once we leave the office, we hightail it to Donut Bar and get a box, and all I think about the entire drive home is tearing into it. The employees are friendly and helpful, the service is quick, and the donuts are the best you’ll ever have: so soft, so flavorful, so generously sized. Eat your heart out, Tim Horton.
