I tried to call in a breakfast-for-two order one early morning and the phone rang for 4 minutes and no one answered. Okay, no big deal. It's a case of the Mondays, so I go online and place my order. Ten minutes later, I arrive and they're just prepping everything. So, I asked if I swap cream cheese on one sandwich. The self-identified manager chimed in and barked, "No, it'll be extra!" I said, "I don't want any additional cheese; I just want a different flavor before she applies any." They both were like, "No, it's already being made. It comes with peppered cream cheese. Anything else will cost extra and we'll put it on the side." I say, "Okay, it's no big deal. I completely understand. It's just that I tried to call beforehand and no one answered." Psycho manager rolled her eyes and kept doing something in the rear. As the cook was boxing my items, I asked for 1 chocolate chip and 1 blueberry muffin with the combo. The manager turned around and said, "Ma'am!" I'm thinking to myself, "What now, Crazy Eyes?" I said, "I'm sor..." She barks out, "DON'T INTERRUPT ME! LET ME TALK..." Then, lectures me about how the boxed items don't allow any substitutions whatsoever. That's all she had to say when I initially asked for a cheese swap: "It's a predetermined menu and corporate doesn't allow any substitutions because of it." But, because she was so high-strung and ignorant--I ignored her. I thanked the woman who prepared my meal, wished her a blessed day, and went on to take care of my patients and surprise my peers with breakfast. The cook apologized for the crazanger's (I made that word up) actions. I will never eat at EBB ever again in life. They offered 2 free bagels upon taking a guest survey and I threw it in the trash. I'll go to Panera from here on out.

Pretty typical Einstein Brothers. The bagels are fresh and reasonably priced. Carry out only, there are no seats or chairs in this one. Closes at 2 in the afternoon so get here early!

Called in a pick up order and was told 10 minutes on the phone. Got there and it ended up being 25-30. Whatever, I can be patient. Ordered a lox bagel with no spread, said it at least 3 times, and it came covered in it. Ordered a garden avocado sandwich that came literally dripping with spread and zero avocado. How do you miss an ingredient that's in the name? Ordered a chocolate cream cold brew that was just a cup of black coffee with chocolate syrup poured in the bottom. Will not be returning.
