Fishbones never informed me that there was built-in gratuity for my meal. I would have never tipped 18 percent for the kind of service I had. I WON'T be going back to FISHBONES.

Ordered soup and Rockefeller oysters today. Not even 4 hours later and my mother is horribly sick. This was the last meal she had before getting sick. We’re headed to urgent care because of how bad her reaction is. I normally don’t recommend this location due to short staffing causing slowness but now food being an issue especially something as sensitive as an oyster is too much to deal with.

It used to be an event to go to Fishbones when I was a younger adult. Now it has become outdated. I came for lunch and sat at the bar, no one came to take my order for about 10 minutes. I ordered the alligator voodoo, it took over 20 minutes to come even though the restaurant was practically empty. Nostalgia is the only reason that I would go back. The service needs improvement.

Came to eat dinner with my homegirl and have a few drinks. Troy was our server, he was amazing! Super informative and had great recommendations. Lamb chops were flavorful and my friend got the catfish, top tier! If you come eat ask for Troy! :)

We arrived early afternoon on a Saturday. Although greeted with cheers of welcoming at the door, the service didn’t keep the rhythm flowing. The server took at least 30 minutes to acknowledge us after being seated. There was only one other couple siting and eating on the other side of the room, so, there’s no excuse. I could say more, but I’ll keep it right there.
Once our food was ordered it did not take long afterwards to receive it, and the servings were plentiful and tasty 😋.

If you’re coming out with a nasty attitude to service people, it makes me think 🤔 What’s going on in the kitchen?

Continuous training is a must. Serve people the way you want to be serve. But when it comes to business, it’s management.

Weekly training meetings is a must, especially if you’re adding gratuity to the bill. They’re already getting what they’re not earning. SMH 🤦🏽‍♀️

Where are zero stars when you need them? I’m trying to figure out what was worse about this restaurant, the food, the wait time that it took for us to get the food, or the sorry excuse for drinks. Oh I think I know what it is, the poor service! When our drinks came 30 minutes later, they were watered down and tasted like children’s cough syrup. We asked for them to be remade and the manager emerged scolding us like toddlers saying that they don’t remake drinks just because they taste bad. The drinks sat on the table in this picture unconsumed. Very poor business. I can’t imagine a manager who allows a table of eight people ordering full meals to leave with a bad impression instead of just remaking drinks. I see now why they were nearly empty when we arrived.

It was a great place to take my parents for their 51st birthday. Everything tasted great and our server was very attentive.

Disgusting, calamari was out of a frozen bag. Service was crazy slow, draft beer had a really weird taste I assume from dirty lines. Top it off sticky tables. Then automatic 18% gratuity for terrible service. What a waste of my time

Every time I go here they sit me in the same area with most annoying waiter (Troy). I had to ask another waiter for things I needed because he was no where to be found and when he is in your presencehe is annoying as hell.... If I return I will be very clear that I do not want to be sat in his section. He will ruin your dinning experience. They need more staff.

The majority of the menu is Louisiana style seafood dishes.

First and foremost, love this place! It’s been around for over 20 years and only has gotten better in time, in my opinion. Food is a lot better, friendly wait staff, etc. However, I’m not sure what the deal is with the manager. Dark skin scruffy looking guy who looks like he wants to be anywhere else but there. This is not my first time noticing but my last visit I wanted to compliment my service and experience but when requested, he was apparently “too busy” though he was the only one there and I just wanted a quick minute… but outside of that, service was amazing. Food, 10/10! Didn’t get a drink this time because i was told there wasn’t a bartender there yet, sadly. The building is still new but could use some updates, does music play during lunch? faintly heard. Haven’t stopping coming here, probably not ever. Love it here!
