The food was horrible. I waited an hour and a half. All I ordered was grits and bacon. The bacon came wasn't even cooked all the way the grits never came. I ordered hot tea. Took an half hour. She was suppose to bring me a spoon, never did! The only thing came was the hot tea. I ordered with that cranberry juice cranberry juice, never came awful place. I will never ever go to that place again it's the worst. The waitress were nice but the food horrible nobody should wait; One or two hours for their food.

The service was extremely poor. The food ordered was not what was served to me. Unfortunately, I was not compensated nor was my order corrected. I paid for what I ordered....getting change for cash would be difficult I was told by the waitress. Truly a disappointment.

Absolutely the worst it was my daughter 16th birthday the power went out then came back on half way they had no vent insulation so it was so smoky we left out that restaurant smelling like. Whole grill me and my party. On top of that the food was soo NASTY. I received no apology until I brought it to co manager attention and she offered 20 % off just my bill not my party even tho they suffered with me. Then I asked for my refill on my soda she had the nerve to give me attitude yea the “manager” of top of all this inconvenience my deposit was not applied to my bill so I had to go back up there which was a waste of my time again because they still couldn’t give it to me it had to be cashed app this was the ghetto I will never be back service, management and just over all was a terrible experience

Well hidden gems needs to stay hidden the ambience is nice decor tacky food terrible, the catfish and grits and shrimp and grits was terrible, it was watery instant grits the cornmeal on the catfish was so thick that wasn't even catfish it was swai and you only get half of a whole slice, the Pepsi was flat and they poured it from a can, that was a waste of $50.

I wanted to like this place so bad. Our date night got off to a late start so we were excited to find them still open after 10:30. The concept, the ambiance, the location all pluses. But that’s the extent of what I liked. The food was terrible! Or as mentioned in other reviews that I didn’t see to after the fact. “horrendous”. Imagine the food being nasty and over priced. First of all I ordered the NY strip and my date ordered the lamb chops with the salmon bites. They didn’t have any of those items, so instead we ordered the curry Chicken and the jerk chicken and we ordered crabcakes as an appetizer. Originally, we were told we could substitute our sides which we both did, and After taking our order the waitress returned and informed us that we could not Substitute the sides, and they would be charged separately for each one. This was surprising as at most places this would not have been the case but we were already there so we said okay. The $25 crab cakes had no flavor or seasoning and was very tiny for the price. Skip this dish you will be disappointed. The curry was lukewarm, the rice was under cooked. Skip this. The jerk chicken was spicy but blend. Skip. Now the over priced individually priced sides. The yams was dry, tasteless and straight out the can. The greens were under seasoned and oddly watery. The macaroni and cheese Nearly burned my tongue off. It gave very much just warmed up in the microwave in a glass bowl. It was way too hot to be serving and it was nasty. Even the pink lemonade had no sugar. I really wanted to like this place, And even with all the overcharging I could have, But the quality and taste of the food was nonnegotiable and they dropped the ball. To say the food was subpar, would be giving it too much credit. The leftovers weren’t even worth, packaging and taking home and there was lots. But all of that the bad food, the waitress, The curry chicken coming out before the appetizer they still had the nerve to charge a 18% automatic Gratuity. They should’ve been paying me gratuity for the Insufferable conditions of the food.To be honest is best to just skip this place as aWhole!!!!

This has been the worst dinner experiences that I have ever had. I have been two times. The first time I went with someone the waiter had us waiting over an hour just to bring out the wrong order for the person I was with and my order wasn’t up to par as far as taste….after that experience I already made my decision to not go there again. However I forgot last minute that I had already been there so I ended up going to a second time which was Valentine’s Day. My boyfriend took me and once I remembered Hidden Gem it was already too late and my boyfriend was already driving into the parking lot.The waitress had us waiting over an hour, which was weird because my boyfriend was watching other people get their food before us who came after us. When the waitress finally came back she informed us that the Chef didn’t have none of the food we ordered. Now why would they have us waiting OVER AN HOUR just to tell us they have NONE of the food we ordered??? Y’all couldn’t have checked and noticed that y’all didn’t have that earlier?? Yea, never again. Highly disappointed.

I didn’t know that didn’t serve alcohol. It was Valentine’s Day,so they were a little busy, but we waited on our food for a hr and a half to find out, they didn’t even have anymore salmon, which is what we ordered Lol It was late,so we chose to stay and had the crab cakes, greens and rice, which was hard.I ended up with a take out bcz I wasn’t hungry anymore. The crab cakes were good though 8/10. The young lady did offer us a glass of wine bcz we were there so long, appreciated it.The saxophone player was absolutely excellent omgggg he needed a tip jar. I would definitely go back just to listen to him. I will go back and give them another chance. Oh and the waitress was nice.

Nice vibe good music Poor service, not a place for groups of 4+ Food was okay. But very late. Doesn't seem like the chefs are capable of handling high volumes. Manager seemed very flip and nonchalant when we were expressing our displeasure with the experience. My aunt paid $150 for a 2 hour slot for my little cousins 18th birthday And maybe 8 out of 20 people that showed up received their meals and only about 5 were edible. Birthday girl and her friends never got their food. Mine came even tho we ordered and arrived after them.

I arrived about 1:30pm to meet up with friends. Was informed that a waitress didn't come to work. The service was very slow This is the same story I read about in the reviews before I came. Only three of us were left when I decided to go ahead an order, even though everyone had eaten and left. I had to go to the bar to get a coffee. This took 15 minutes . This was before I decided to ordered. Probably around 2:30pm I decided to order the fried cauliflower, 2 chicken sausage patties, buttered wheat toast, and a coffee refill. To my surprise I received my order plus potatoes, scrambled eggs. The toast appeared to be stale and had a whitish texture. The owner assured me I would not be charged for the extra items , but I was . I was charged around $38, that included an 18% tip. The seating was crowded probably because of our reserved tables for the brunch. Tables were to close. Everyone was getting their food at staggered times. As we were leaving, I noticed that some other couples, maybe two were seated on the other side of the restaurant. That area seemed more spacious. I do recommend the fried Cauliflower, it was great. I can't recommend this place and I won't be going there again.
