Hunan Town is our family’s go-to place for Chinese food. We’ve been loyal customers for many, many years. Originally, Charles and Lily owned Hunan Garden at 10 Mile and Telegraph. We were crushed when the restaurant closed, but ecstatic to find the new location, renamed Hunan Town, on W. 12. Mile.

First time getting food from here. I had Sweet and sour chicken. They gave a large portion with a beautiful presentation. The only complaint I have is the food was very bland. It could have been seasoned better. I will go back for a different selection.
We used to always go to Hunan Garden and were sad when we found them closed with no idea what happened. Lo and behold they opened again in another Southfield location and as a Carry Out Chinese Establishment. I happened to Google the old location and was directed to their new place.
