Hunan Town is our family’s go-to place for Chinese food. We’ve been loyal customers for many, many years. Originally, Charles and Lily owned Hunan Garden at 10 Mile and Telegraph. We were crushed when the restaurant closed, but ecstatic to find the new location, renamed Hunan Town, on W. 12. Mile.
The new place provides carry out service. The food is excellent, and the portions are super generous. Some of our favorite dishes are Deluxe Lo Mein, General Tso’s Shrimp, and Chicken Chow Mein.
Catering and delivery services are also available.

This food made me severely sick literally me and my 3 year old daughter. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and we were both sick bad that night and next morning. Food has to be old or not fresh! Never again!!!!!!!! Be careful!

I LOVE this place they have hands down the best I've tasted. The service is friendly and never a bad attitude. I had some for the millionth time today and the food is really consistent.
I've been back in Michigan Southfield to be exact for two years I was gone for twelve my favorite childhood Chinese restaurant closed, so I tried this place.... great decision! The food was fresh the establishment smelled good, and the lady at the front was spot on! I'll be returning for sure. I don't even like Eggrolls but I ate that one it was crispy and they didn't skimp on the orange sauce! I ordered General Tso chicken dinner it came with one egg roll, steamed broccoli and fried rice, had I known it was coming with steamed broc already I wouldn't have ordered a side of it is my only negative take away! GREAT JOBVegetarian options: You can opt of meat dishesKid-friendliness: It wasn't a bad atmosphere to go in a pick up some good foodWheelchair accessibility: The door was wide enough h for someone to access with a wheelchair

I have been to this place a few times now and the owners and the workers are so nice so polite. They even take your food out to your car. the food is so good I've had Chinese food in many other places and I wasn't so happy but these people really know how to make it right and even if you don't order ahead of time they are so quick getting your food ready I highly recommend it

Worst food ever over cooked and had no flavor whatsoever for a place that is rated a 4.6 different colored food no one even took more then a few bites and spit it out because it was so nasty first and last time I will ever get there
