I heard that Fenton passed away.. This is absolutely terrible news this was a wonderful man one of my favorite people I have ever met. If someone is reading this that is part of his family please except my condolences.

Fenton's Jamaican J*** restaurant is near my heart doctor's office. I used to frequent his restaurant regularly. Since I lived in Jamaica and went to high school there, we had many conversations about Jamaica. He was very kind and friendly and always made sure to double wrap my carry out so it would still be hot when I made it home. The food was always good and fresh.

The food is “comfort style, home cooked” and it is extremely good. The j*** chicken is always tender and flavorful. It isn’t very spicy though, so if you want it to burn you’ll have to add your own sauce. The oxtail is incredible and so are their curry dishes. Great place for takeout.

I ordered the J*** Chicken, rice and beans, greens and plantains. It was all wonderful! Took me right back to the sunny beaches of Trelawny. I swear there must be a j*** pit out back - it tastes that good. Have been there several times and Mr. Fenton is always pleasant and easy going. I read the review of the person who posted that she had an unpleasant experience and I just can't imagine it.

Oh No! I’m so sorry to hear about Mr. Fenton passing. I went there today wanting support his business during this hard time only to find out from the reviews of his passing. I love love love his food. He was always smiling and greeting us whenever we stopped by. He will always be missed. RIP Mr. Fenton ??

Farewell Mr Fenton, went here today after work like I always do on a Friday, only to learn that he has passed away. The best rice and peas I've ever tasted. I'm so sad.

This place is delicious!!! The food is so good. J*** chicken reminds me of Jamaica. So good and authentic. The owner is the so friendly. I can’t wait to go back!

I like this spot! They give tasty meals, their menu is varied, The chief cook in that place is well trained, I enjoy a lot eating all their food. J*** chicken dinner is hard to beat! $14 but I took a good amount home after eating my fill. I haven't had better collard greens. The chicken falls off the bone. Delicious, and a nice little place to sit and eat.
