L George's Coney Island

I ordered breakfast for our medical staff and had to ask a employee what kind of toast she wanted. The extreme huff and the "oh my god" from the lady taking my order on the phone was rude and uncalled for. The food was mediocre and half cold when i got there to pick it up. Hash browns were barely cooked, steak was not done correctly and the omelet was all sausage that tasted bad. If you have to go orders, shouldn't they be kept warm until the customer gets there? When I walked in it was sitting on the counter bagged up... from my experience as a server, all to go orders were kept warm for the customers. Won't be returning here again simply due to how rude the staff was and the bad food. Not to mention, all I was asked was my name, was never given a total for the order.. this place seriously needs new staff.

Called in an order. The FIRST thing I asked the waitress was if they do the lunch special because I know all L George’s aren’t the same. She said Yes we do what can I get for you. I ordered a fish sandwich and asked for salad instead of fries. She asked for my name, I spelled it and then all I heard was wait music. So she came back and said hello how can I help you. I’m like I just ordered you out me on hold, did you get my order? She said yes I got you. Hung up I didn’t even get a chance to get the total. Then get there, the lunch special $9.99, my total way almost $18. She talkin bout she NEVER said they have that and why would she ever say that. PROBABLY BC YOURE OTP RUSHING AND NOT PAYING ATTENTION JUST SAYING YES TO ANYTHING. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. THATS THE VERY FIRST THING I ASKED BC I WOULDNT HAVE EVEN ORDERED FROM THIS HIGH ASS CONEY. THEY CANT COMPARE TO DETROIT CONEYS. BEING RUDE IN FRONT OF THE OTHER CUSTOMERS. I walked out. She wanna say oh somebody will eat it. Steady talking, how unprofessional. Get some new staff with better attitudes!! I work across the street and won’t be back. That’s why I never come here bc the other lady was rude last time when I asked for ketchup. I refuse to spend my money here now.

Purchased salads and was given the wrong salad dressing after driving home I discovered the inconvenience called back and was told they couldn't convesate me unless I brought it back that day and I live 45 miles away, really unsatisfied with them

The crappy customer service and horrible attitudes ruin EVERYTHING about this place! If you close at 6:45 then put 6:45 on your hours! They look at you like you crazy if you try to place an order at 6:45 talking about were closed but clearly have 7pm listed as when they close. Make it make sense! The quality of their food has consistently continued to decline but their prices continue to go up. It's just crazy to me how a place has no concept of customer service like how are they still open?! I have tried to give them chance after chance and every time I'm shown why I should just never come back. Trust me I WONT!! and I know I'm only one person and they won't give a crap but you get enough just 1 persons and it's over... save your time and just go somewhere else bc this place DOES NOT deserve your hard earned money!

Terrible. I had such high hopes because the other L.Georges have great greek salads - the only one I like around here. This one was disgusting - the chicken tasted spoiled.

Went there for breakfast. Eggs and hash browns were very good. Large portion of hash browns. The toast was soggy. My main issue was that their coffee cups either need a good scrubbing or maybe a good soak with bleach. They have a nasty coffee residue. They also use plastic utensils. What a waste of plastic.

On the morning of 9.6.2024, I visited your Northwestern Hwy, Southfield, MI 48034 location. I was troubled by the tone that the waitress behind the counter was using when discussing Mexican immigrants. Such tone and resentment should not be used in public or in private. I have noticed this derogatory behavior from this waitress before, and as a result, I will never, never, never patronize your restaurant again.

The absolute best!!! ❤️ The staff is sweet and amazing!!! I eat here at least once a week.
