I was there on a Friday- late afternoon, early evening. The music was nice, the staff was quick and friendly. It appeared to have a host of regulars that enjoy themselves. the food was tasty and well prepared.

Was looking for a nearby experience. Stopped in for a quick drink and appetizers. We ordered potato skins and catfish nuggets. The Stella Artois on draft was spoiled and didn't have any bottles. Drank some Jameson instead.

Decent if you want to just get out for a minute but can’t believe they actually add gratuity to drink orders. I understand food but drinks……come on!!!ALSO, I attempted to order at the bar and the service was awful. The bartenders ignored me but as soon as a man walked up he got service right away. Wondering why this has happed each time I have been here do the ladies have problem with other females or what??? Oh, and no DJ!!!Since my friend likes the place I may go back but will not be ordering anything for sure. IS THE WATER FREE OR DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT WITH ADDED GRATUITY TOO

I visited Red Balloon Saloon, late on a Thursday night @10p. It was one of the few places open. On NHW. They serve bar food.My girlfriend and I ordered fish/chips? fresh garden salad delicious, hip hop music. This was enjoyable for my out of town guest. I would visit again. Friendly atmosphere.
Balloon Saloon.is always a great time in the past. My last two visits. The service was awful. The server everytime I ordered a drink would say "cant do that" no expounding in why etc. The way groups are billed is weird. This new policy of not seperating bills or being able to have your own bill is odd. I enjoyed my run, time for a new spot Dbos here I come
I have been going to the Saloon for a while. Would always have a great time. My last 2 visits havent been great. The wait staff are rude, impatient and not appearing to want to assist you. Whenever I would attempt to order drinks, instead of stating we dont have ingredients for a White Russian "cant do that" was the response. The inability to have your own bill even with a party of 4. The billing and payment changes are very odd. Needless to say, time for a new afterwork spot.

It's a bar, not a nightclubs. The music was so LOUD you barely hear.Service was good, but only 1 waitstaff to cover the whole bar! Food was good, however some in our group received cold food.
