We had an enjoyable time with the family during a hibachi-style dinner. Chef Nick was a charming and friendly presence, contributing positively to the atmosphere, especially with his engaging games that kept everyone entertained. The family appeared to enjoy the meal overall; however, I thought the meat was slightly overcooked, losing some of its tenderness. (Chef took a long time to cook; a long time)
Additionally, I was not a fan of the rice, which seemed to be something other than steam rice, rather than traditional steamed rice. The dinner was a hibachi event prepared in their company's own style. Still, I believe they could improve by following authentic hibachi methods, such as incorporating flames and theatrical fire displays, to elevate the entertainment and enhance the authentic experience. In my opinion, when guests choose hibachi, they are seeking a performance that combines flavorful food with a captivating visual show, which is the core experience that can make the occasion memorable.
Although the experience was lacking in the hibachi-style of cooking, the children happily took turns working the grill and really enjoyed it.
