Starter's Bar and Grill Southfield

Waitress suck, Cook supervisor suck, and Manager suck!!!! We were a party of four and our food was brought out one plate at a time with pause in between. Only 3 orders came out when we were able to track the waiteress down about the order that we had not received we were told them that the southwest chicken was only served at your other location. We then place another order after 25 minutes the order never came out. We alerted them hostess and the waitress walked passes the table never acknowledging us. She then came back to the table to say they were playing the french fries. Not to mention the table next to us she brought their complete order out. The kitchen supervisor came to the table an apologized and said she would bring out the salmon wrap when the order was made. After 10 more minutes the order came out.
When explained the situation that our initial order was placed an hour ago. Then we had to track the server down and was lied too that they were plating the order. We asked for a manager and she claim only 10 percent can be given off the order because of management look at the camera they will see when we ate. Which make no sense. As we didn’t come for free food but should’ve been compensated better for the serve that we were provided. Which caused the waitress to not incur a tip. As a manager the food for that order should’ve been comp and the waitress and cook should have been held accountable for one not checking back with the table to ensure that they received there order also if you don’t offer something to communicate it back do that the order can go in asap.

This establishment is so ghetto. Someone started fighting tonight inside the restaurant. I had my daughter in there . Someone that worked there told me to get my daughter out of there because the guys had guns . Choose somewhere else to spend your money and enjoy the night:

Food was great! Service was TERRIBLE. Took 30 minutes to get a damn coke! But the food was good. Prices aren’t bad either.

My waitresses had the vibe like she didn't wanna work today. Never came back to ask if I needed anything else i had to flag her down to ask for something else with my meal. I'm glad they don't do like Floods & add a automatic gratuity. I still gave her a few bucks but, check on yo customers & let them know off rip what do or don't come with their meal like Alfredo don't come with bread or meat automatically u have to purchase it smh!

Service is sloooooow. No one has sense of urgency there. Seems like they could benefit from a "flow of service" training sesh. They ARE attentive. Just slow. Food was amazing as always! Extremely hot! Bar wasn't too crowded. A nice, chill atmosphere.

Lost my business before I even had a chance to experience it. Try to order online for a takeout. Click the link on the Google page to get to the website and look at the menu.
Could not find a dinner menu to save my life lol. Had to go to the starters home website and search for the store location specifically to find a normal menu, upon attempting to try an order, anything with the very confusing and unintuitive layout, I clicked on an item to order and it was prompted with additional questions to which I could not select and every screen stated that it was not currently accepting orders and small fine print.
I finally said screw the online attempt. I'll just call in.. called in twice and the phone just rang and rang until eventually it went to voicemail after several minutes. Called a third time and was answered with.. Please wait.. and literally sat on the phone for 10 minutes until I hung up.
It's a Wednesday afternoon..

The food was really good and everyone's food that was brought out of the kitchen looked tasty.

The service was awful. I heard the waitstaff, bartenders, and kitchen staff talk bad about each other. Each worker seemed to dislike his/her job - I can't single out one person because it was literally EVERYONE. The bartenders were unfriendly and never checked on me nor my party. We had to get their attention instead. I felt so uninvited and underappreciated. I will not be returning to this location ever!

Was here lastnight as soon as i left throwing up , i don’t know if something was in my drink or if the stuff was out dated i am a bartender and i kept telling my friend my drink didn’t taste right and now I’m in the hospital!

During the night time this restaurant is a free for all. Terrible service, terrible food, & terrible management! Ordered a burger and it was literally slop on a plate and they wasn’t trying to Exchange the food or make up for the issues that they caused. By the time the burger was remade the RIGHT WAY the carry out workers was trying to run up from behind the counter to try to swing on me and my girlfriend. I don’t see how this place is still operational for my business standpoint. Extremely disappointed. I would I recommend this food or place to my dog.
