Our first impression of the restaurant was the lobby wasn’t very clean, but not a big deal because we knew that had recently snowed and maybe sat their dirty bag or shoes on the chairs in the lobby,, but mostly our bad experience came from the employee that took our order! We asked her about the two different types of chicken and she in our opinion was pretty rude when she said look at the picture on the wall, which was first looks like a picture of a picture, meaning poor quality. She told us about the free sides and when we asked what they were because we didn’t see it because the print was smaller than the rest of the menu and the glare from the sun on the menu made it had to read. Her tone when we asked her a question was rude and she also said her 70 something year old mother could see it. This was our first time here and we were not familiar with the place and the Grease they were using needed to he changed Everything had that Burt taste to it.

This was fantastic for the price! The seasoned chicken was perfect-meaning you didnt have to add anything to it. A healthy amount of bleu cheese with an equal part of dried cherries, large portion of pecans! The vinagrette was drive worthy for again...im from Lansing!

First visit today expecting, from what I heard delicious food, instead got hard overcooked chicken wings! One star cause the seasoned fries were good,, but what a waste of money. I won’t be back!

Don’t eat there! Worse customer Service businesses will never last if you only hire bodies without training your employees on service sure they will be closed soon.

I tried this place yesterday. I should have known it was sum bs. When u walk in it didn't smell like nothing. How a chicken place don't smell like chicken?? Couldn't even eat the food. I will be doing a charge back. And the company must be selling confidence because the product was whack. Smh

Was a little disappointed first time there , I arrived around 11pm website say close at 12am , but my food was made without care the fish was fried with old grease so the fish skin on outside was brownish black had that burnt taste and it was soggy due to the excess grease from fish soaking in grease and temperature not high enough wasn’t happy with this meal at all. If you close at 12 am you have to be prepared to cook all last minute orders with same care as the others.

This my first time EVER having “Sweetwater” food service and it was HORRIBLE. The homemade collard greens was unseasoned, I was better off eating raw greens or kale. The Mac & Cheese was HORRIBLE, unseasoned- no cheese just VERY VERY PLAIN. The Chicken lol it looked like steroid size drum stick. I got a 8 pc and then only ate (3) pieces. I tell you I’m more upset‼️ that I wasted $35.23 on this nasty food than the food itself ?
I need a refund back‼️

We got a large carry out order for my brother's birthday party. The food was incredible, especially the ribs. We left before we grabbed the last tray (my fault) and the owner called as soon as she noticed so we could pick them. I'm pretty sure she even packed a new tray so we had fresh fries. Highly highly recommend!!

Everything is garbage here. The employees could care less. They need to close the doors on this place and quit robbing customers of there hard earned money and providing trash products and careless service
